Saturday Matters with Sue Lawley

The first of a new late night talk and entertainment series, in which Sue invites guests to talk not only about themselves but also about their ideas and opinions on a wide range of topics. Tonight, her subject is childhood and her guests include HRH the Duchess of York and Cliff Richard.

The show in which Sue talks to her guests not only about themselves, but about their thoughts and opinions on a whole range of issues. This week her guests include actress Jacqueline Bisset and singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka.

Tonight Sue's guests include Environment Minister Chris Patten and friend of the earth and ace impressionist Rory Bremner.

Sue's guests tonight include award-winning actress Pauline Collins, winning comedian Lenny Henry and multi-millionaire Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Sue's guests tonight include two musical anarchists: Ken Russell, iconoclastic director of such controversial films as The Music Lovers and Mahler, and Victor Borge, who refreshes the parts other Danish pianists cannot reach.
