The Valley: Persian Style

Old friends Reza, Mercedeh and Golnesa have traded Beverly Hills for suburban life in the Valley. Their new social circle features family matters, strong personalities and the ever-present prospect of clashes. While the couples in the group seem happy, cracks in their relationships emerge. Financial speculation about Golnesa spreads through the group and comes to a head at Persian Night.

On date night, Tommy's coarse ways leave a bad taste in Mercedeh's mouth. Ladies' man Reza Jackson endures a disastrous date of his own. Sky puts Tanin's skincare oil to unexpected use. Reza confronts Golnesa about her financial situation. Sky and Bamshad struggle with their sleeping arrangement. Marital woes for Greg and Tanin, as well as Tommy and Mercedeh, leave them questioning how to move forward. 

Mercedeh's unhappiness with Tommy grows as their communication breaks down. Adam pledges more affection to Reza. As rumors of Greg's online flirtations spread, he surprises Tanin with a special gift.

Golnesa and Dennis continue their emotional conversation as they try to move forward. Reza Farahan is shocked by Sky's unreasonable demands for a bigger house in a bougie ZIP code. When the group takes a trip to Palm Springs to bond and let loose, Mercedeh feels like a fifth wheel without Tommy as Reza Farahan promises to mend fences. Sky's complaining begins to irritate the group, but she attempts to clear the air with Golnesa. Tanin brings a Medium to communicate with the dead, leaving Amir and Natasha to confront their lingering heartache. When friends gather for Adam's birthday dinner, a surprise guest potentially ruins the festivities.

The surprise arrival in Palm Springs proves hard for some. Another argument between Golnesa and her ex-husband leaves the group unclear on the nature of their relationship. Reza Jackson endangers Amir's life at the racetrack, then invites a plus-one to dinner at their house for an unforgettable night. A table-wide argument with Sky at the center threatens to divide the group, though Tanin and Sky's friendship suffers the sharpest dagger.

What happens in Palm Springs resurfaces in the Valley. Sky and Bamshad's relationship hits a rocky road to recovery. Natasha and Amir discuss the Medium's revelations and their unspoken feelings around Amir's first wife. Mercedeh has a career awakening during a meeting with her boss, urging her to step up her game and rely more on Tommy at home. Golnesa enlists Amir as her lawyer to negotiate new business terms with her ex-husband. A girls' night without Sky and a boys' night with a frustrated Bamshad shed light on the possibility of reconciliation amongst the group. Reza Jackson plays mediator between Tanin and Sky, resulting in a surprise reunion.

Tanin and Sky air their grievances with one another during Reza Jackson's mousetrap lunch. Mercedeh's frustrations with Tommy's refusal to attend events with her bubbles to the surface, striking another blow to their relationship. Though Mercedeh and Golnesa's friendship is tested when Mercedeh hosts a twilight open house at Golnesa's estranged sister's home, hope is on the horizon for Reza and Tommy. Amir and Natasha host a pool party in an attempt mend the group's tensions, but Sky's absence puts Bamshad in the hot seat.

Following her beef with Sky, Golnesa decides to start her own jewelry line, aptly named Valley Girl. Tanin enlists Reza Jackson's modeling skills to prep for her upcoming skin care event. Sky receives troubling news about her father's declining health. Amir agrees to a vasectomy consultation. Mercedeh and Tommy bump heads when he misses pick-up at Shams' school. The twilight open house is the backdrop for the fractured group's awaited reunion.

At Tommy's suggestion, he and Mercedeh attend couples therapy where revelations about his past inform their present marital issues. Golnesa assures Reza Jackson that all bets are off due to her problems with Sky. Mercedeh and Reza's mended friendship backslides during a contentious lunch. The friends reunite for Tanin's skin care event, where she and Sky attempt a breakthrough. After Sky places blame on Golnesa, Reza and Mercedeh, Golnesa takes matters into her own hands and another showdown ensues.
