Carolina pretends to be Sister Celeste to avoid being arrested; she arrives in Monteverde, where she meets Oscar, a man who openly shows his resentment toward women; however, he manages to save her son's life.

Carlos, feeling comfortable with Oscar, confesses that he came to Monteverde in search of his son Andrés, since some time ago his mother pushed him out of his life.

Eva confirms to Franco that she is going to move into Néstor's house, and that they are also determined to give their relationship another chance. He is ashamed of the decision his mother made and calls them "cynical."

Carolina confesses to Juanita that Oscar finished school, so the time has come to tell him the whole truth.

Sister Celeste recognizes the detective from a photograph and demands that Carolina leave Monteverde, since Carlos has found her.

Padilla claims to have the information that proves Carolina's innocence and reveals that Carlos is the real culprit. However, his help comes at a price, and to obtain the evidence, she must pay a considerable sum.

Celeste receives the shocking news that Carolina and Andrés have left the convent. Worried, she decides to contact her sister, and during the call she is surprised to discover that both of them are heading to Zacatillo.

Erika arrives in Monteverde with a single purpose: to recover the son who was taken from her arms nine years ago.
