Laura and Disorder

Ever a magnet for the unexpected she has no sooner touched down at Heathrow than she is up to her neck in disorder. 

Incident-prone Laura finds herself involved with some high-powered villains, but considers this less daunting than becoming the butt of too many mother-in-law jokes. 

Laura pays her first visit to Oberon's squat and meets his girlfriend, Holly. The building is owned by a property shark whose aim is demolition rather than preservation but he hasn't bargained for a confrontation with Laura. 

Laura finds that life with Oberon and Holly is much more fun than with her stuffy son and, much to his horror, plans on moving into their squat. 

Marriage guidance, job consultancy and youth counselling all land in Laura's lap. Characteristically, her response is unorthodox...

Adventurous as ever, Laura and Oberon invest in a metal detector, but what they unearth is more trouble than treasure.
