My Romance Scammer

Facing family pressure to marry, both Pai and North seem to luck out when they each happen to meet men they could see themselves betrothed to and enter into arrangements very quickly.

When Pai finds out about North's secret marriage to Yu, he's furious and demands that North contact a divorce lawyer immediately. Tim immediately sees Yu's scheme for what it is.

North is determined not to break up with Yu. In his efforts to make Pai soften his stance, he has Yu invite him for dinner so he can show him he can take care of North. As Tim starts to see a different side of Pai, he finds it hard to resist falling for his prey.

Pai is unrelenting in his insistence that North divorce Yu, but North isn't budging. Exhausted from work and worry for North, he feels Tim is his only solace.

To prove his sincerity, with Tim's advice, Yu goes all out. Meanwhile, when Pai introduces his friend Kuea, Tim shows clear signs of jealousy.

Yu finally comes clean with North about his scam, returning most of the money while promising to repay the rest, leading to a dramatic, emotional turning point.

Despite the scam being revealed, Tim realizes his feelings for Pai have become genuine. When Pai is disowned and has nowhere to go, Tim offers him a place to stay.

All trust is shattered when Tim's secret is exposed and Pai asks for a divorce. In contrast, Yu and North reconcile.

 Although their relationship has been on the right track, Yu is feeling the social class divide between him and North. Meanwhile, having signed the divorce papers, Pai is trying to move on, but Tim won't let him.
