Shinemon Nitta is the self-proclaimed manager of Card Capital. Shinemon works hard to protect Card Capital from the director of a large-scale card shop, Esuka Hibino.

In the struggle for the right to run Card Capital, Shinemon has his own deck taken away. Shinemon and Mark infiltrate Esuka`s main shop to try to get it back.

Leaving Card Capital to his disciple Tatsuya, Shinemon challenges the re-test. However, Esuka`s hitmen, Nanami and Tonori, appeared, and they seem to have taken away Mikuru.

The one who summoned Mikuru is Esuka. Esuka proposes that Mikuru debut as an idol. Meanwhile, Mark and Tatsuya enter Esuka`s main shop to rescue Mikuru.

The curtain rises on the fight between the strongest S ranked fighter Nanami, and the Ninja Master. As the fight rages between those two, Shinemon gets tormented by the sub-manager.

Shinemon arrives at Esuka`s main shop and faces off against Nanami. The secret of Nanami`s cold attitude towards the fight is hidden within her encounters with both Vanguard and Esuka.

Card Capital will open for a day for the shopping street`s Halloween festival. Shinemon and friends try to revive the fun atmosphere from the past, but an unexpected trouble occurs...

It`s the day of the Halloween festival. The tournament runs smoothly, but Shinemon is bogged down with work as the manager. Then, Rive goes missing.

Esuka appears as Card Capital`s one day open ends without a hitch. Esuka proposes a cardfight to Shinemon with the rights to run Card Capital on the line.

On top of losing to Esuka and getting chased out of Card Capital, Shinemon sees Misaki together with Esuka, and falls into despair.

With his sights set on a rematch with Esuka and to battle in the S Cup, Shinemon wanders in his attempt to change. Meanwhile, Esuka invites powerful fighters from all around the world.

The Esu Cup is where the rematch with Esuka will occur! However, Team Dragon`s Vanity, formed with 3 esteemed fighters from various regions, stand before Shinemon and friends.

The match between Team Capital and Team Dragon`s Vanity will be decided when either side gets 3 wins! The first fight was entrusted to Ninja Master, but he seems to be fooled by the Oyama`s flashy style.

Rive is chosen by Ruga to be his opponent. Though these two used to fight side by side as a pair, Ruga scolds Rive for running away from his fear of fighting against Ruga.

Shinemon faces the last hurdle of Dragon`s Vanity, which was none other than he who sheds tears upon the sin of weakness, Yuichirou Kanzaki. Will he be able to overcome Kanzaki in this last fight?

Overcoming trials and tribulations, Shinemon gets his rematch against Esuka. Facing the youthful, immature, and reckless Shinemon, Esuka speaks of her own life experience.

A Card Capital with a prosperous future. The famous talent and entrepreneur, Esuka Hibino, and her Shop Manager acquaintance, Shin, shares about the unknowns of Esuka to the regulars.

Shinemon is now a 4th-year university student. He`s supposed to enter the deciding match with his teammates as representatives of Japan, but Rive starts using a new deck with a clan he has never seen before in the tournament.

The one who greets Shinemon and friends from mysterious research laboratory "Ryuzu`s Lab" is none other than Tatsuya. Shinemon challenges the head of the lab Ryuzu Myoujin to a fight, and bears witness to a shocking experiment.

It`s the day before the finals of the Asia Circuit. As Shinemon ponders about whether to join the "Unit Summoning Experiment" or "Team`s Final Worlds Challenge", Esuka invites him for dinner.

Shinemon heads to Ryuzu`s Lab to bring Rive back together with Esuka. Mark enters the finals alone, believing in the return of Shinemon and friends. The curtain rises on Shinemon`s final fight.

Ryuzu attempts to involve Shinemon in the summoning experiment. Esuka fights Ryuzu to stop that from happening, and to send Shinemon and his friends to the tournament.

"The one who wants to fight Shinemon with the Unit summoning experiment is not Ryuzu but me.", Tatsuya chuckled dubiously. What does that actually mean? Ryuzu and Rive look back upon the beginning of this research.

With a wish "to save the lives of the deceased parents", Tatsuya challenges Ryuzu with the position of the leader for the experiments on the line. He knows the truth behind the experiments that Ryuzu has yet to realize.

Tatsuya rides on the wings of Malkuth-melekh with his insane desires. To save the hostage Chrono, and to return with Rive to battle alongisde Mark, Shinemon challenges Tatsuya to a final battle.

The final battle begins at Ryuzu`s Lab in the midst of the experiment to bridge Earth and Cray during the half-moon. Can Shinemon stop Tatsuya, who has sacrificed everything for the experiment?

10 years have passed after the night of the half-moon. The young Misaki is now a university student, and Shinemon gets used to being "Shin", the shop manager of Card Capital.

After an unexpected reunion, Shin Nitta must once again fight using the moniker "Shinemon", a name he hasn't gone by in over ten years. The fight that will lead Shinemon to his new future begins.

The story of Shinemon that spans two generations...... is supposed to have ended, but both Shinemon and Shin appears!? Shinemon and Shin reminisce about their individual pasts.

Aichi Sendou and friends from the Miyaji Academy CF Club look forward to participating in the Vanguard Koshien. However, with a lack of members in the club, the student council sends them a notice to disband.

The CF Club challenges the student council for the club`s survival. As the student council doesn`t seem to improve in their fights at all, Aichi decides to become their coach.

The fight between CF Club and the student council begins. What are the hidden feelings of the Maki Nagashiro, secretary, towards Naoki? Will the fearsome ability of Eru Nakagami from the paranormal power research society bear its fangs against Shingo again?

It`s the final battle of the challenge. With his way with words, Tatewaki Naitou, the student council president, makes Aichi his advisor. Can Misaki overcome the odds and save the club against such powerful adversaries?

Some fighters are tormented by mysterious disorders. Kamui brings Kyou to visit Voyage, where he encounters Rekka. Meanwhile, Tetsu chases after Kyou, and Kai meets Koutei again.

Ibuki loses the peace gained from the battle with the Wandering Star Brandt, and is overcome with guilt. Ibuki receives an invitation to the Tatsunagi Mansion, where he is met by Nome Tatsunagi, the new head of the Tatsunagi foundation.

Ibuki`s heart rejects the power of Deletors out of fear. Discarding his deck, Ibuki decides to quit Vanguard for good. However, he is stopped by Leon, who coincidentally paid a visit to the Tatsunagi Mansion.

To make up for his own sins with the new power he obtained, Ibuki appears before the person he had deleted, Tetsu. He then challenges Asaka to a fight, to join the Fukuhara High School VG Club`s Koshien team as the anchor.

The four schools advancing to the Vanguard Koshien semifinals have been decided, and they are Miyaji, Hitsue, Fukuhara, and Harumi. And the first match is Fukuhara VS Harumi. With their reputation on the line, which high school will proceed to the finals?

The next semifinals is Miyaji VS Hitsue. However, Kai goes missing on the day of the fight. Without completely recovering from being deleted, will Kai make it in time to the venue?

The finals is Miyaji VS Fukuhara. Leaving the anchor match to Naoki, Aichi and Ren face off in the fourth match. As Ren goes all out to enjoy the fight, his PSYqualia reveals a destiny that should`ve been lost.

Vanguard Koshien has Naoki and Ibuki facing off for the anchor match! It`s a fight that will decide the victor. As things heat up for Naoki, he catches a glimpse of Kourin.

No matter the distance, the souls led by fate cross paths once more. Kourin invites Miyaji Academy, the winner of Vanguard Koshien, to an exhibition match.

Aichi Sendou, a timid youth who gets his precious card taken by his classmate, Katsumi Morikawa. Aichi goes after Morikawa, and heads towards a card shop called Card Capital.

Aichi Sendou challenges Toshiki Kai to a cardfight in order to get his card, Blaster Blade, back. As Kai teaches Aichi about the rules, he notices Aichi's smile during the fight.

A young cardfighter, Kamui Katsuragi, heads towards Card Capital in order to become the strongest cardfighter. Kai nominates Aichi, who happens to be at the shop, to fight Kamui.

Misaki Tokura, a shop assistant inexperienced with cardfighting, becomes interested in Vanguard upon seeing how Aichi Sendou evolves. With an invitation from Aichi, Misaki steps up to her first fight.

Aichi Sendou applies to join the CF Research Club that Katsumi Morikawa and the rest are in. However, CF Research Club faces the crisis of being abolished with the grades of Morikawa and the rest being far below acceptable.

Aichi and the rest encounter Leon Soryu, champion of the Asia Circuit, and Gouki Daimonji, runner-up, at the grand Cardshop "Voyage"that Kamui Katsuragi originally played at.

Kenji Mitsusada joins and forms a team at "Voyage" with the other members of Asia Circuit`s top 3, and is set to participate in the shop battle. One day, Mitsusada visits Card Capital without notice.

The shop battle begins with Card Capital`s representative, Team Q4, facing off against Voyage`s representative, Team NwO. Gouki Daimonji and his sister Nagisa are the first members that Q4 needs to defeat.

The proud fighter, Toshiki Kai, and Emperor of the Card World, Kenji Mitsusada, face off in the third match of the shop battle. The two fighters with high potential are neck and neck in this climax fight where both of them use their trump cards.

Fourth match of the shop battle has Aichi Sendou facing off against Leon Soryu. Fighting an uphill battle against Leon`s "Wind", Aichi experiences a different imagination for his fight.

Kamui Katsuragi and Gouki Daimonji battle in the deciding match. While trying to defeat Gouki, Kamui recalls what Gouki once said to him.

Minami Kawanami, a member of the mysterious group "Asteroid", appears at Card Capital. The "VF Glove" that they use appears to be dangerous item that allows the damage of cardfights to manifest.

Voyage gets taken over by Asteroid. Kamui challenges a member of the strongest team "AL4", Kyou Yahagi, in an attempt to reclaim the place where he used to belong.

The one who spoke to Aichi while his movements were sealed by the lethal combo of Kyou`s "Dueling Dragon, ZANBAKU", was none other than the Blaster Blade from his imagination.

Asaka Narumi of Team AL4 appears at Card Capital looking for the place that Kai belongs. Foreseeing that, Miwa faces Asaka and the Asteroids in an attempt to keep them away from Kai.

Misaki and Asaka battle. Ren Suzugamori, the leader of the Asteroids, appears during their fight. Meanwhile, Kyou suggests to Aichi and Kamui that thay should go "Asteroid Hunting".

Aichi learns from Kyou that hearing the voices of cards is something known as "PSYqualia". And Misaki`s fight against Ren, who`s able to use that ability.

Kai recollects hanging out with Ren and Tetsu of Team AL4, and his reunion with Aichi, upon knowing that Ren paid a visit to Card Capital.

Tetsu appears before Aichi and friends while they are Asteroid hunting. The hidden power of PSYqualia is discovered when Tetsu challenges Aichi to a cardfight for his research on PSYqualia.

Kai and Miwa enter the Asteroid headquarters and defeat the members. Elsewhere, after the fight with Tetsu, the exhausted Aichi and Kamui encounters the leader of Asteroid, Ren.

Teams Q4 and AL4 gather at the Asteroid headquarters. Kai fights Ren in a decisive battle to protect Aichi. The battle begins between Kai, who denies the power of PSYqualia, and Ren, who is overflowing with that power.

Kai and Ren faces off in the destined match. While teams Q4 and AL4 watch on, Kai rides a new trump card. Who will come out on top in this serious fight?

The fight between the users of PSYqualia, Aichi and Ren, reaches its climax. Can Aichi overcome Ren, whose imaginations originate from a warped thirst, and sever the chains of these fights?

Aichi and friends return to their peaceful days after the battle against Asteroid. A few days later, Kai challenges Aichi to a fight at Card Capital.

During the fight with Aichi, Kai begins to understand his feelings towards the fight. Aichi pushes forward with his PSYqualia during the fight.

Aichi`s friends see him off as he heads towards the Asia Circuit as a representative of Japan. Meanwhile, in a mysterious dimension, familiar units and the clans they belong to are introduced.

Aichi`s wins in the Asia Circuit have him face off against Leon once more in the finals...... And after some time, Aichi`s now a high school student! However, Vanguard isn`t popular at all in Miyaji Academy, the school he has enrolled in.

Kourin, from Ultrarare, transfers to Miyaji Academy, and joins Aichi`s Cardfight Club. As the club applicants who want to get to know Kourin gather, Aichi`s childhood acquaintance, Naoki, appears.

Naoki takes on Kourin`s club entry test. Confronting his past self, he fights with all he has even though he`s a beginner. Can he grab hold of his future with his deck and Shin`s training?

With Naoki`s entry, the club works towards gaining official approval. However, Naoki senses that he`s being watched. The culprit is none other than Shingo Komoi, who is interested to join the club.

Misaki is feared as the Backstage Boss of Miyaji Academy. She keeps declining Aichi`s invitations to join the Cardfight Club to avoid troubling him, until Kourin can bear it no longer and challenges her to a fight.

The Cardfight Club heads towards an exchange match. Their opponents, Fukuhara High VG Club, feature familiar faces from Asteroid such as Ren and Asaka, and also ULTRARARE member, Suiko.

Naoki and his powered up deck faces the experienced idol, Suiko. During the intense fight, "Takuto Tatsunagi" from the "Tatsunagi Foundation" makes his appearance.

Aichi and friends encounter the mysterious fighter, Kouji Ibuki. What is the power of "Delete" of the malicious "Deletor" units that belong to the person who taught Kai and Miwa Vanguard!?

CF club returns to their peaceful daily routine after the exchange with Fukuhara. "Takuto Tatsunagi", the "Concert Master" and chairman of the Tatsunagi Foundation, reveals a shocking truth to ULTRARARE.

Concert Master Takuto Tatsunagi challenges Ibuki to a fight to find out what the mysterious unit "Deletor" is. Takuto seems to have the advantage with PSYqualia, but...

As the "Destiny Conductor", Takuto commands Suiko and Rekka to go to Fukuhara. The aim of these girls is to infect the vanguard fighters with a certain power.

Ren fights the PSYqualia zombiefied Asaka to return her back to normal. However, with the power of PSYqualia, Asaka can only see a nightmare of herself defeating Ren.

The invasion of the PSYqualia zombies spreads towards Card Capital. Kai brings forth the power of a new Overlord in order to save Kamui and the others who have become PSYqualia zombies.

Aichi and the CF club are brought by Kyou to the card shop. What awaits them are Rekka, who turned Kyou into a zombie, and a gang of PSYqualia zombies!

Though Aichi defeated the PSYqualia zombies without breaking a sweat, Ibuki appears before him! Kyou, with his new power of PSYqualia, imagines himself defeating Ibuki with his new trump card.

Aichi is driven into a corner by the PSYqualia zombie Naoki. In the middle of their intense fight, the one who intervened in their imaginations was Kourin.

Entrusting Naoki and Aichi to Shingo, Misaki heads for the Tatsunagi mansion, where she encounters Kourin. The curtain rises for the fight to release her beloved friend from her fate.

Aichi finally awakens as the strongest PSYqualia zombie. Kai, Ren, and friends head for the Tatsunagi mansion upon contact from Misaki, but the one who stands in their way is none other than Ibuki.

Ibuki will not stop until Kai is deleted. Ibuki fights with the power of despair and resentment towards Vanguard, but PSYqualia reveals a light in his imagination of Kai from his memories.

PSYqualia zombie Aichi appears at the Tatsunagi mansion. Misaki fights to bring back the original Aichi, but Aichi`s strength has undergon a transformation into a different kind of ruthlessness.

Ren arrives at the Tatsunagi mansion, and challenges the mastermind behind this, the Destiny Conductor. But as Ren`s fight against the abnormal "Starhulk" units unfolds...

PSYqualia zombie Aichi fights against Ibuki. The ability and anger contained within them clash at full force, but as the abnormal fight unfolds.

Although Aichi is released from the control of being PSYqualia zombie upon being deleted by Ibuki`s Deletors, Aichi loses his self as a Vanguard fighter as well.

The final battle that will decide the future of Vanguard begins with the actions of Aichi and the Destiny Conductor. Meanwhile, the forces of both planet Cray and wandering planet Brandt rally to war.

The deities of both planet Cray and planet Brandt descend in the final act. Fighting alongside his allies towards the conclusion of the distorted fate, the light of salvation appears within Aichi`s sword.

With the conclusion of U20, Chrono and the rest return to their daily routines, with no knowledge of the threat of the "Apostles", and Noa returns.

The Second Stage of the U20 Championship, a battle royale where the objective is to race to the top of the castle. Taiyou encounters Verno from Team Diffrider, and the harsh rule of this stage is that players that lose can no longer participate.

Tokoha`s opponent is none other than Saori of Team Diffrider, who participated in place of Miguel. To live up to Miguel`s expectations, Tokoha renews her determination in her fight against Saori, but Saori denies her determination, and mocks Miguel`s death.

Onimaru is merciless against Rummy Labyrinth and Kumi, and makes a fool of their "enjoyable fight". Defending their fight as a knight, Enishi makes his move on the "power of taboo"of Onimaru`s Nubatama.

Saori is frustrated at the discomfort of the fight with Tokoha. Chrono clashes with all his might against Saori, who behaves conspicuously as a unit, and looks down on fights against humans as "games".

As the fight between Chrono and Saori unfolds, Kazuma gets a rematch with Onimaru. Kazuma tries his best in the fated fight between brothers, but the Onimaru in front of his eyes is no longer the "brother" from that day.

Chrono is shocked by the relationship between Kazuma and Onimaru. Kazuma challenges Shiranui, who pretends to be Onimaru himself, to settle the fight. The frightening objective of Shiranui, who took over Onimaru`s body and violated the U20, comes to light.

Team Fukuhara proceeds according to Shion`s strategy, and makes it to day 2 with none of the team members dropping out. However, Hayao notices Shion`s plan to sacrifice himself for the team, and ignores that strategy…!

Regaining his freedom, Shion challenges Chrono at his best. The two of them fought with all they have, like the way they fought when they first met. The heat from their fight fascinates all the fighters at the stage…!

Second Stage ends, but only 3 teams can proceed. A repechage has been confirmed, but before that, Chrono and Ibuki tell the others about the Diffriders at an island in the south…

The repechage between Rummy Labyrinth with Saya and Jaime Flowers. Knowing the truth of the Diffriders, Tokoha composes herself and reaches for the ticket to the Final Stage with a fight against Saya.

Chrono and Taiyou reflect upon the past battles and head towards the Final Stage. Together with Kazuma, the Striders steel their resolves for the final battle.

Another face off between members of TRY3! Chrono and Tokoha renew their determination and battle against each other. With the ticket to the finals on the line, it`s an all-out exchange of blows.

Kazuma suggests a special training to steel their resolutions and is invited by Chrono and Taiyou deep into the mountains. The one that they meet is none other than the strongest Shadow Paladin fighter, Yuichirou Kanzaki.

Verno challenges Tokoha to a fight on the day before the finals of the U20 Championship. During the fight where their ideals clash, Verno finds out about the identity and objective of Kazumi.

The first match of the finals of U20 Championship has Taiyou VS Verno. Can Taiyou overcome Verno`s radiance with all his might in his final fight for Earth?

During the semifinal match, Saori fights with complete hatred akin to an intent to kill. Overcoming the unfeeling wall of smouldering flames, the dragon`s "awakening" is achieved for the world it seeks.

Kazumi and Kazuma look back upon their forgotten childhood memories during the fight. Kazuma bets everything on the final hit to save his brother and overcome the past.

It`s the final match of the U20 Championship! With the wishes entrusted upon him, Chrono envisions the memories of Shiranui, who is possessing Kazumi`s body.

To grab hold of the future, and show Kazumi the Vanguard he believes in, the fight where Chrono puts his all unfolds. The answer that Shiranui receives at the end of that fight is...

The U20 Championship concludes, with Chrono and gang returning to their daily routine. However, Shiranui left behind the memories of the "master" within Kazumi.

Team TRY3, Kamui, Ibuki and Kai break into Ryuzu`s facility to safeguard the summoned units, retrieve the Depend Cards and take Ryuzu into custody, but Ryuzu`s "company" keeps them all occupied.

Six months later. Ryuzu Myoujin is dead, but the Company that he kept carries on his will somewhere... Meanwhile, as Chrono, now a third-year student and Vanguard star, flees from a mob of fans, he encounters an enigmatic boy who talks about fixing the world much like the old, physically ravaged Ryuzu did.

Company member Hiroki Moriyama shows up at United Sanctuary Branch, but Branch Chief Ren and Tetsu are out. As the representative of the branch, Taiyou challenges Hiroki to a fight.

Chrono and Taiyou decide to pay a visit to Yuichirou Kanzaki, former branch chief of United Sanctuary, in order to get info on Ryuzu Myoujin and the Depend Cards. They discover Kanzaki carving giant statues single-mindedly deep in the mountains.

In order to prevent Hiroki Moriyama from recapturing Ryuzu`s former lab, which is still being investigated by Ibuki and the others, Taiyou has a rematch with the insufferable Company agent. Through the fight, Taiyou closes in on the secret within Hiroki`s heart, the reason he obstinately clings to the self-styled title of "champion of justice."

At the Dragon Empire Branch, Mamoru leads a meeting of the assembled temporary branch chiefs regarding Ryuzu`s conspiracy. Suddenly, Enishi, the missing Dark Zone Branch Chief, appears among them.

A unit has materialized at last! But a lot of people suffered serious injuries from its attack, including Mamoru, who was hospitalized. The disaster happened right before Tokoha`s eyes, leaving her with emotional scars and in a state of deep depression. But then a surprising visitor shows up at the hospital!

Chrono accepts Ryuzu`s invitation and is taken to an abandoned factory, where they begin a furious fight. In the midst of it, images of long-forgotten memories run through Chrono`s mind. Memories of Ryuzu and his father, Rive, as younger men, and himself as a small child...

As Shion, Ibuki and the others track down Chrono, who disappeared with Ryuzu, they clash with the hindering head honchos of the Company. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of Chrono and Ryuzu`s fierce fight, the powered-up Depend Cards are unleashed!

Saya has become one of the world`s most famous Vanguard idols. Now she`s brought two powerful assistants from abroad to help her throw the Happy Vanguard Festival at Dragon Empire Branch.

When TRY3 and Taiyou are in the middle of a strategy meeting at Shion`s apartment, Jaime shows up and takes them all to a South Seas island.

Trinity Dragon infiltrates an experimental facility run by Company man Sousuke Wakamizu?! The three work together to expose the Company`s evil deeds!

Luna has "nobly sacrificed" herself for the sake of a "perfect future." Or at least that`s what Enishi claims when Am tries to get the comatose Luna back. What will the verdict be when Am and Enishi fight over their claim?

Just as scientific genius Sousuke Wakamizu has prepared everything to open the Stride Gate, Shinonome appears with his usual mischievous smirk and a desire to mix things up.

Team TRY3 enters the first G Quest at Magallanica Branch, a team tournament that they easily dominate `til the end, when a specially-formed Aqua Force team shows up to sink them.

As the three simultaneous fights between Team TRY3 and Special Aqua Force continue, powerful new cards debut and Chrono holds his own against Leon Soryu until the legendary leader announces that the wind will blow five times!

A mysterious boy, Ace, manipulates Shion`s uncle and engineers a hostile takeover of the Kiba family business. The stakes are higher than ever as Shion fights Ace with the fate of the Kiba family on the line, not realizing that he stepped into a trap.

The TRY3 members help the Vanguard idol duo Rummy Labyrinth get ready for a performance. Novice idol and Vanguard fighter Luna wants to become friends with her strict, more experienced partner, Am, but seems to keep screwing up at every turn.

One stormy night, a haunted, dejected Shion runs into Kai. They have a series of fights in a nearby laundromat even as Shion fights his inner demons. Will the outcome be any help in the Dragon Empire Branch`s G Quest treasure hunt?

As the Dragon Empire Branch G Quest continues, both Tokoha and Chrono find themselves in "jail" and only Shion can get them out... by defeating the "guardian", Miwa! And he`d better do it fast because time is running out...

Shion is searching for Ace, the boy who stole his family`s fortune. Chrono is focusing on getting stronger for a G Quest victory. But Tokoha feels left behind and without a goal. She lends a hand at Card Capital, which is mobbed with people waiting for the tournament to start, and has a talk (and a fight) with Misaki, who`s been in the same position before.

Team TRY3 competes against Naoki, Shingo, and many others as part of Zoo Branch`s Quest. Only one person can battle the mystery fighter from another country, but first all the teams compete in a Vanguard cooking contest.

Continuing from last week`s quest, TRY3 has to make it past various enemies and obstacles in a recreation of the Megacolony criminal empire before they get a chance to win back their championship medals from this week`s "guest boss!"

After Kamui takes Chrono and the boys to a neighborhood bathhouse for some "special training," a heated battle ensues between them. Also, Chrono learns that everything he`s ever heard about the planet Cray and its inhabitants is real!

Team TRY3 goes to the Stargate Branch for the latest G Quest, but find it sparsely attended because it`s just too difficult. The quest: to beat either Toshiki Kai or Kouji Ibuki. TRY3 gets its first of two chances as Shion fights his recent, onetime mentor, Kai!

During the second half of their fight, Chrono and Ibuki get fed up with each other. Ibuki accuses Chrono of not improving since their last match, while Chrono is sick of Ibuki`s behind-the-scenes machinations. Can the two reach an accord and a satisfying ending to the fight?

Shin holds a shop tournament at the original Card Capital, which brings together a mix of old favorites and newer characters. Does Chrono stand a chance against the fighter who taught Kamui everything he knows?

After the tournament, Shin talks with Chrono and reveals that he and Chrono`s father Rive were friends and teammates. Knowing that Chrono wants to face Ryuzu Myoujin and despite warning him that he may die, Shin decides to have a cardfight with Chrono to test his resolve. During the battle, Shin reveals Ryuzu was involved in Rive`s death, which causes Chrono to worry that Mikuru will be put in danger as well. But with some encouraging words from Mikuru, Chrono makes up his mind; he will protect both her and Vanguard from Ryuzu.

Luna wants to get closer to her Rummy Labyrinth idol partner, but Am seems distant and even depressed lately. When Luna goes to Tokoha and Kumi for advice, they end up running into Am and one silly argument later, Tokoha and Am are having a Vanguard showdown. Will this unofficial "girls` meet" end with breakup or a bond?

After getting stronger through the G Quest, Shion lures Ace out for a fight. Will he be able to regain the Kiba family fortune through a win?

TRY3 participates in the G Quest at the all-new United Sanctuary Branch, which is now run by Ren, Tetsu, and Asuka {Asaka}. In the end, the members of TRY3 are pitted against Team AL4 {Asteroid`s Team AL4} in a new twist on a "relay match."

The new version of a team fight, Relation Vanguard, continues with Chrono up against Ren and several powerful new cards. Meanwhile, Myoujin continues plotting behind the scenes to force creatures from Cray into captivity on Earth.

While Kamui tries tracking down Ryuzu Myoujin at a seemingly abandoned Association facility, he runs into Mamoru, Trinity Dragon... and the operator of a dangerous high-tech security system.

Team TRY3 enter the final G Quest, sponsored by Dark Zone Branch, but it may be the hardest one yet as hundreds of opponents try to stop them from going undefeated in a haunted house-themed labyrinth!

The members of TRY3 try to relax and prepare for their fight against the mystery "dream team" the next day, while Ren and company work behind the scenes to track down Ryuzu Myoujin before he can summon the final unit from Cray.

The first match of the ultimate stage pits Tokoha versus Misaki of the legendary Q4! If Tokoha loses, TRY3 won`t have the chance to help take down Ryuzu Myoujin, but does she even have a chance against Misaki`s incredible memory?

Chrono picks a random quest to fight someone and goes to meet them at the Vanguard Colosseum, which employs the latest technology to make Vanguard fights more realistic than ever before. But Chrono`s opponent turns out to be Kouji Ibuki, a cold-hearted pro who sees right through him.

When Chrono takes on a quest that has him trying to coax his way into an elderly woman`s home, he`s upstaged by fellow Vanguard fighter Shion Kiba. This leads to a match between them at Card Capital 2, but will Chrono be able to take Kamui`s advice and "evolve" enough to beat this tough opponent?

Everyone is talking about the mysterious Gear Chronicle deck, possessed by only one person... who is currently suffering from a major toothache, but rather than going to the dentist, Chrono heads to Card Capital to fight a classmate, a beginner who`s been coached by Tokoha, the girl destined to become Chrono`s rival!

Chrono goes to the local Dragon Empire Branch for an event and registers for a chance to fight the Kagero clan leader, Mamoru Anjou... but he`s sidetracked by Vangarou, the Vanguard Association`s official mascot. Vangarou demands a fight with Chrono, currently the only known possessor of the mysterious Gear Chronicle deck, but the jolly-looking costumed character has a VIP inside!

Shion wants revenge after losing to Chrono, but he`ll get his chance in an unexpected way: the Vanguard Quiz Tournament, an event that pits Vanguard Cardfighters against each other in games that test their knowledge, ingenuity, and fortitude!

Nagisa returns, three years older than the last time we saw her, but none the wiser as she demands to fight Kamui with the usual high stakes of marriage! When Kamui chooses flight over Cardfight, though, Nagisa puts a bounty (via quest) on his head and even convinces Chrono to help track down her man.

When Tokoha was young, she and an older friend, Akane, buried a time capsule. Now Akane is going to move abroad and the time capsule has been unearthed. Will Vanguard be able to help these two old friends gain a sense of closure and open a path to the future?

This week`s quest has Chrono meeting Jaime, a Spaniard who says he wants to see Japanese-style Vanguard firsthand, but then he drags Chrono all over town in a series of misadventures that may or may not have anything to do with Vanguard.

Chrono is inspired to become stronger when he watches Jaime and Mamoru fight at the interleague tournament. Later, he accompanies Jaime to an orphanage, and realizes he has more in common than he thought with his Spanish friend. But how far are they willing to go when Jaime is about to lose his most treasured card?

Chrono finally takes on his friend, Jaime, the up-and-coming superstar from the Euro League. Will Chrono crack under pressure in his first serious fight? Or will he discover more about "the heat within"?

What starts out as a simple get-together at Card Capital 2 to celebrate Chrono`s move up to Grade 2 becomes an all-night party featuring ping pong, communal stew, and yes, Vanguard, too! Except Shin becomes a nervous wreck as the night goes on, since he`s trying to fly under Misaki`s radar...

Chrono gets another mysterious new card from a stranger. He`s quickly forced to use it as a powerful new opponent challenges him to a fight!

The Masked Ghost proves to be more than urban legend as he goes around town, stealing a precious card from every Vanguard fighter that he beats. Shion may know Ghost`s true identity, but is he strong enough to win back the stolen cards?

The Dragon Empire Branch is holding a festival, and the already-overworked Mamoru has been put in charge, so he delegates a bit to his kid sister, Tokoha, who is tasked with coming up with a festival activity. Chrono is brought into the fold kicking and screaming, but comes up with a plan that may make the whole festival successful. Plus: Mamoru in three simultaneous Vanguard fights against our protagonists!

Tokoha feels down after everyone sees her only as "Mamoru`s little sister." Making matters worse, her favorite baked treat is constantly sold out. When she learns that Chrono has been beating her to the punch every day, Tokoha challenges him to a Vanguard match, with a bag of croquette bread on the line.

Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion take on a quest to help a shy Cardfighter who fell in love at first sight with a girl he fought a match with once but never saw again. Can the quarrelsome trio use their resources and wits to track the girl down when they`ve got nothing to go on except a single card she left behind?

Kamui lends Chrono a DVD, "Earth Defense Organization Caesar," which stars Team Caesar as a global defense force against invading giant monsters from space. What will lone wolf Chrono think of this team-centered story... and what does it have to do with Vanguard?

The regional tournament is coming up, but the only way Chrono can participate is by forming a team of three people. Kamui steps in, signing up Chrono, Shion, and Tokoha together. The problem is, they don`t get along at all...

Team "Still Undecided" participates in a mini-tournament so Chrono can earn the points he needs to go up to grade 3, the minimum requirement for participation in the upcoming regional tournament. However, when Chrono spots a team cheating at the tournament, he can`t help but get involved, a move that will have lasting repercussions for him and the team!

After the events of last episode, Shindou turns his back on Vanguard and Gear Chronicle, only to witness his nameless nemesis claim the unwanted deck. Is Shindou really ready to give it up for good?

Chrono is intent on getting to grade 3 before the big tournament, even though all of his points were recently taken from him. He finds a challenge with a jackpot payout that would take him back to grade 2 in one shot, but Chrono has no chance in the mysterious dark mansion if he goes it alone. And yet, he just quit his team...

Chrono continues his mad dash for points by completing as many quests as possible, but if he misses even one, he won`t have enough to make grade 3 by the entry deadline for the regional preliminary tournament. Meanwhile, Mamoru tries to help his little sister and her team behind the scenes...

Chrono, Shion, and Tokoha participate in the "survival Vanguard" event, Chrono`s last chance to get to grade 3 in time for regionals. But he and the others have plenty of rivals on the mountain, not to mention planned obstacles and the pitfalls of a natural environment!

This episode serves as a perfect jumping-on point for real-life Vanguard fighters as Chrono shows a first-timer the ropes at Card Capital. Meanwhile, teammates Asuka and Shion drop by as they gear up for regionals!

The regional tournament is finally here and team TRY3 is as ready as it`ll ever be. But first, there`s an exhibition match between the winner of the previous national tournament and Kanzaki, the director of the United Sanctuary branch. What does this match between two titans portend for the future of Chrono and friends?

In the second round of the regional tournament, Chrono has a rematch with the wandering warrior, Takeru Baba! But Takeru has a lot of motivation for his travels, and when Chrono finds out what it is, it weakens his fighting skill!

Team TRY3 has moved past the early rounds of the local tournament. Things start to get serious when Chrono goes up against Kariya of Demise, a team that has plenty of bad attitude and was specially-trained by the United Sanctuary branch.

After Chrono`s win, their second match with Team Demise pits Tokoha against the nasty Rin Hashima, who has an old grudge against Mamoru. During the fight, Rin exploits Tokoha`s weakness, getting under her skin by calling her "Mamoru`s little sister."

Shion has the tie-breaking match between Team TRY3 and Team Demise, but it`s an uphill battle as his opponent seems to know everything about Shion, including the attacks he`s going to make.

Tokoha and Shion are still in a funk over losing at the regional tournament, so Chrono forces them to go with him to the beach in a cheer-up effort. But when the weather doesn`t cooperate, the continued existence of TRY3 is up in the air...

Chrono and Tokoha are still reeling from Shion`s sudden announcement that he`s quitting Vanguard. They do everything they can to persuade him to do otherwise, but Shion won`t budge. Chrono finally resorts to one last desperate gambit to keep TRY3 together.

Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion get complimentary passes to Vanguard idol Saya Yatomi`s concert, but the TRY3 members end up with more than they bargain for, somehow getting dragged into working as security, wardrobe troubleshooters, and even becoming part of the show!

Shion is fired up about having another crack at Team Demise at an upcoming United Sanctuary tournament, but Chrono is shaken by his aunt`s revelation that his long-deceased father was a Vanguard fighter... and who apparently died because of it, so she forbids Chrono from ever playing again!

Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion participate in the United Sanctuary Branch tournament, but something seems off from the get-go. That branch`s fighters seem too pumped up and when they lose, they`re dragged away by guards. Later, Chrono`s opponent in the final match turns out to be Taiyou, who`s changed a lot from the meek beginner he was when they first met.

The members of TRY3 infiltrate United Sanctuary Branch and split up. Chrono searches for the seemingly-brainwashed Taiyou. Shion battles his frenemy and United Sanctuary convert, Yuya. Meanwhile, Tokoha trails Rin of Team Demise.

Chrono, Shion, and Tokoha all have the chance to fight United Sanctuary Branch Chief Kanzaki, the mastermind of the "brainwashing" system that churns out strong fighters. TRY3 wants to tear that system down, but they`ll have to beat Kanzaki first.

When Chrono and friends take Taiyou to an amusement park for a little fun and brainwash deprogramming, the head Dog Trainer shows up to take Taiyou back to United Sanctuary branch for more training. Chrono gets in the way and a (Card)fight ensues...

Team TRY3 is invited to United Sanctuary Branch for a special match, but will they be able to participate before the branch is suspended for its questionable training methods?

As the special United Sanctuary match begins, Tokoha gets the chance to redeem herself against the queen of Team Demise, Rin Hashima.

The wounded Kai tries to warn his mates about the Quatre Knights who are hunting them down, but it`s too late. Ishida is confronted by another member, Neve. Ishida is confident at first, since he`s already beaten the Knight named Moress, but then Neve encloses them inside his Steel Wall Prison, a place that can do real physical damage to the loser of a Cardfight!

Kai decides to continue the quest for Aichi and face the Quatre Knights on his own so his friends won`t get hurt or worse, but Kamui stands in his way. Kamui and the others are willing to brave danger for Aichi`s sake, whatever Kai says. Kamui throws down the gauntlet to begin an epic card fight over their future course of action.

Kamui and Misaki go to the airport to meet the jetsetting Koutei for info on the Quatre Knights, but why doesn`t he remember his old friends and rivals? Then, two more international Vanguard fighters show up. Are they the other two ultra-powerful members of Quatre Four?

It`s Misaki`s turn to fight one of the Quatre Knights! Her opponent is Rati, who acts like a lightweight, but is a seriously powerful fighter. The main character is a third year middle school student who is a slight coward named Aichi Sendou. The days pass by, and because of that part of his personality, he doesn`t make many friends. But Aichi has one thing which supports him. A single card he got when he was little named "Blaster Blade". It`s actually a very valuable card from the card game that is sweeping the world in popularity named "Vanguard". But one day, a loud and violent classmate of his named Morikawa steals the card from him by force...

In order to take back his precious card "Blaster Blade", Aichi continues his fight with Kai. Even as he explains the rules while he fights, Aichi can sense Kai`s overwhelming strength. Aichi fights back with all his strength, and during their fierce back and forth their surprising history together is revealed.

Aichi`s little sister, Emi, finds it strange that Aichi seems to be having more fun lately, as he usually lives out his life being bored... One day, on her way home from school, Emi sees some bad-looking guys taking Achi away somewhere. Worried, Emi follows them, and arrives at a store named "Card Capital".

Aichi wishes he could fight once again with Kai, who he looks up to. But the manager of Card Capital, Shin Nitta, stops him. He says that he`s got a better idea, and has Aichi fight with his niece, Misaki. Misaki knows the rules, but has never had a Vanguard fight before herself. What could Shin`s real aim be?

One day, when Aichi pops his head into Card Capital, Morikawa is fighting a kid he`s never seen before. The kid is so powerful, Morikawa can`t even scratch him. His name is Kamui Katsuragi, and he`s a famous grade-school fighter in the area.

Aichi, Morikawa, and Izaki go into the city to a card shop. Aichi is all excited about his first time in another card shop than Card Capital. It`s then that Morikawa gets lost, and they can`t find the shop. Right when they`re about to give up, before Aichi`s eyes there appears an extremely mysterious card shop...

Shin gets a brand new "Standing Fight" table for his shop, and so to test it out, Morikawa and Kamui have a fight. Afterwards, Aichi and Kamui notice Kai walking about town, and decide to follow him to see where he lives now. Kai notices, and Kamui challenges him to a fight. Kai senses a strong opponent, and agrees to the challenge, but does Kamui really know what he`s getting into?

Aichi is trying to decide whether to enter Card Capital`s upcoming Shop Tournament, but is worried that he isn`t good enough to compete. He finds himself coming to the shop anyway, and there`s only two spots left! Just then, Kai walks in, and submits his entry form. Knowing that he might get to fight Kai if he enters, Aichi leaps at the chance, but just before he enters, another person sneaks in their application at the same time! There`s only one spot left in the tournament, so there`s only one way to settle this: An on-the-spot fight! Aichi is full of motivation, but can he defeat an opponent who seems to have accounted for everything?

Aichi is participating in the Shop Tournament held at Card Capital. The usual gang is there, plus a bunch of unusual folks... But Aichi`s gaze is focused only on one place...

With the first round over, the Shop Tournament is really starting to heat up! There`s a fight that`s drawing everyone`s attention, between a middle schooler and an adult dressed as a ninja who is trying to defeat him!

Aichi continues getting his hands dirty in a fight with the mysterious Ninja Master in the second round of the Shop Tournament. Using the skills of his "Nubatama" deck, the ninja backs Aichi into a corner!

It`s already the semi-finals of the Shop Tournament and standing up against Aichi is none other than Kamui! As the fight begins Aichi and Kamui don`t hold back one bit, going at each other with full force! With that invigorating tension, they battle on!

Aichi challenges Kamui, trying to get revenge for his previous loss. Since their last fight, the gap in their skills has closed considerably. Aichi puts everything he`s got out there in order to reach that fight with Kai he`s aiming for.

Aichi heads out on a journey to other card shops, in order to find and fight other strong Vanguard fighters and gain experience after the Shop Tournament.

Emi starts taking an interest in Vanguard because of Aichi. One day while visiting Card Capital, Shin gets Emi to participate in a Vanguard fight for the first time!

The Regional Tournament is finally starting! Aichi and the gang get in Shin`s van and head to the tournament hall. When they reach it, Aichi is amazed at the size and starts to feel the pressure bearing down...

It`s the first round of the regional tournament and Aichi, who has never been in one before, is completely taken in by the atmosphere and can`t play to his normal level. Then, "Three Blacks" swoop in to stand in his way!

The regional tournament is heating up even more after the winners of the first round are decided! Unique and quirky teams all stand up before Team Q4 to fight and win!

Kamui wants to show Gouki, the guiding star of the Vanguard world, how strong he`s gotten. But first up for "Team Handsom" is...!?

The curtain falls on the first showdown, and the middle fight of the finals begins! Up for Team Q4 is Toshiki Kai, and up for Team Handsome is Kaoru. It dawns on Aichi that the result of his fight will mean the difference between victory and defeat!

Aichi`s fight with Gouki begins with the tournament on the line! Aichi stands up to Gouki, fighting for his team and to avenge his previous loss!

The final fight of the regional tournament reaches its pulse-pounding conclusion! If Aichi wins, Team Q4 will go to Nationals! After getting through to the National Tournament, Aichi and the others head to the mysterious card shop PSY that they once visited in order to polish their skills. But what awaits them there...

Continuing to train in preparation for the national tournament, Aichi and the others notice Misaki`s incredible memory. Aichi and Kamui are all excited to learn how to have such great memory ability, but...

Aichi and the others are scrambling, at a loss, not knowing the reason Misaki suddenly tells them "I can no longer fight together with you". Worried about her brother, Emi visits Card Capital and...

Finally, the curtain rises on the Vanguard National Championship Tournament! Team Q4 had come together as one, but faced with their dream competition and the huge odds against them, cracks start forming between them...

In the qualifying leagues of the national tournament, Team Q4`s first match is decided to be against a team called the "Jurassic Army". Who will be standing against Aichi, nervous in his lead-off position?

The first match of the preliminaries is heating up, with offense and defense continuing for Aichi vs. Ryudou Genji. Genji`s "Tachikaze" deck specializes in a fearsome power where you can sacrifice your allies to eliminate your opponents...

The second matchup for Team Q4 in the preliminary rounds of the National Tournament is Team Muscle Brain who uses Nova Grappler decks. The tough battles continue... What is the path to victory?

It`s the final match-up in the qualifying league, and the third opponent to face off against Team Q4. But it`s none other than last year`s champion team, and the ones favored to win it all this year too, Team AL4!

It`s the last match of the National Vanguard Championship Finals! The long-awaited Ren Suzugamori of Team AL4 arrives on the scene and in his fight, unleases a unit that no one`s ever seen before!

Team Q4 and friends have a Vanguard training camp at a beach, but they`re surprised to meet the powerful team that actually invited them. Will Aichi and his teammates actually learn and improve, or be distracted by fun-in-the-sun beach activities?!

Kamui subjects Aichi and the others to a rigorous "special training" regimen at camp, but it doesn`t do anything to help Aichi prepare a "winning deck". For that, Aichi seems to get a hand... from the cards themselves?!

Dissatisfied with the training camp, Kai goes to the wrong side of the tracks for an edgier kind of Cardfight. Kai gets what he wants and then some, going up against the King of Underground Fights, with Miwa as a hostage!

Card Capital is hosting another tournament, this time for teams. Team Q4 makes short work of the other players, but then they go up against Team Overthrow. The players are familiar and seem to be pushovers, but Overthrow has a couple of secret weapons up its sleeve!

The members of Q4 aim to get another shot at the national championship, but it looks like their hopes will be dashed at the Card Capital Shop Tournament, when Aichi fights Miwa, Kai`s old fighting partner. This one match will decide which team goes to regionals, Q4 or the upstart Team Overthrow!

The reigning regional champions, Team Q4, return to the tournament that propelled them to nationals. The bar is higher than before, with strong new teams poised to take the crown and Team Handsome determined to win it back!

In the first round of the regional tournament, Q4 fights Perfume, the team that can smell their every move!

To get revenge against Ren and AL4 for kicking them off the team, Crusher Kyou and his Avengers first have to beat Team Q4 at regionals! But Aichi, cocky for the first time, tells Kyou in no uncertain terms that that isn`t going to happen!

In the last round of the regional championship, Aichi`s battle with Kyou rages on! But his friends and teammates begin to get concerned, as it seems something strange has gotten into Aichi...

Ren Suzugamori gives Aichi a Shadow Paladin deck, saying it will make him stronger. But Kourin challenges him with a Royal Paladin deck of her own, to prove that no deck can make a Fighter stronger. Will Aichi be taught a lesson or will the new deck bring out his dark side even more?

After her defeat at the hands of a power-mad Aichi, Kourin seeks out Kai on the eve of the national tournament. She finds him playing Vanguard in a back alley and challenges him to a fight. But what does Kourin really want from Kai and why is she so angry?

The next Vanguard National Championship begins here! Spurred on by Ren, Team Foo Fighter Brilliant Stars has targeted Aichi -- but first, the one-time mild-mannered fighter has to survive his encounter with the Jurassic Army, who he lost against last time around!

With Aichi laid up in the infirmary after his latest post-game spell, it`s up to Kamui and Misaki to get through the elimination round. But their first effort as a duo is against Spyder, the team that knows all about them, including their Achilles Heel!

Kamui and Misaki both fight desperately against members of the Brilliant Stars, AL4`s strongest "farm team". If they fail, it means Aichi has to fight, which could lead to him getting sicker as well as being engulfed further by the dark side.

It`s Dark Paladin Aichi versus Bidou, the candidate for the open position of AL4! Will Aichi finally be knocked off his high horse by a fighter who`s even stronger than Crusher Kyou?!

Kai arranges a fight with the power-mad Aichi before it`s too late. As the two square off in an alley, Kai recalls the last time he encountered the power of Psyqualia... years before, when he was Ren`s friend and teammate!

The back-alley battle between Aichi and Kai comes to a pulse-pounding conclusion! It`s the moment Aichi`s been waiting for, but is this the fight he really wants?

Card Capital is holding a casual shop tournament, and Aichi, Kamui, and Morikawa enter in the senior division, while Emi competes in the junior division. Unfortunately, Morikawa has left his super-strong deck at home. Shin lends Morikawa an unmodified trial deck to use, but to his dismay it contains only one Grade 3. Can Golden Rutile go the distance?

The shop tournament continues, with Morikawa having a seemingly unstoppable series of victories and Emi's Bermuda Triangle deck dominating the junior division. Though he doesn't win, Aichi realizes that he plays Vanguard because it's fun.

The tournament finals begin and Ren delivers an egotistical speech at the beginning that angers the other teams. Team Q4 battles through the first two rounds, but coming up next is their "rivals", Team Caesar.

Team Q4 battles the powerful Team Caesar in the semifinals! First up is Kamui versus the "Gladiator", who`ll do everything in his power to protect the "Emperor"! Then it`s Misaki`s turn against the "Empress", who`s no longer playing nice!

The epic battle between Misaki and the "Empress" of Team Caesar concludes here! Misaki is great at memorizing cards, but Yuri seems intent on teaching her that there`s more to winning a Vanguard fight than relying on probabilities.

Aichi is in the middle of the most challenging match of his life against Kenji Mitsusada, the "Emperor", a former national Vanguard champion! While Aichi is on the ropes, Ren tries to bring him back to the side of Psyqualia and a guaranteed win. Can Aichi stick to his guns, even if it means losing the match and a chance to fight Ren?!
