Griselda and Reinaldo meet for the second time at the Palmer mansion. This time, she goes to fix the garden lights. Antonio feels ashamed of who his mother is and how she behaves.

Reinaldo and Teresa Cristina attend the fashion show of his sister-in-law, Esther. Teresa Cristina is determined to find out whether Antonio is truly worthy of Patricia. Griselda feels humiliated.

Reinaldo sees Griselda bathing naked in the sea, and the image leaves a lasting impression on him. Antonio looks for a professional actress to pretend to be his mother during the engagement dinner.

Griselda is furious when she catches her daughter with her boyfriend. Reinaldo helps with Griselda's van, making her nervous. Gabriel confesses to Kike that he is madly in love.

Teresa Cristina overhears a phone conversation between Reinaldo and Griselda and causes a scandal at the Gourmet Palmer. Griselda and Reinaldo have a chance nighttime encounter.

Griselda and Reinaldo share an ice cream by the sea. Teresa Cristina warns Juan Pablo that if he puts Aunt Iris in contact with Reinaldo, she will kill him. Máximo and Bárbara arrive in Miami.

Amalia makes love to Rafael at Fashion Motors and loses her virginity. Gabriel shows up at night at the Gourmet Palmer looking for Griselda. Kike is upset by Bárbara's return.

Furious, Griselda throws Gabriel out of the Gourmet Palmer. Kike seeks out Bárbara and warns her that he will make her life a living hell. Bárbara breaks down in tears, humiliated. Reinaldo feels admiration for Griselda.

Máximo visits Kike at his house. Kike commits to no longer pursuing Bárbara. Reinaldo cooks in front of Griselda during the second night of repairs at the Gourmet Palmer.

Reinaldo dreams that he kisses Griselda on the beach. Bárbara and Máximo argue over a news item published in the newspaper. Griselda suffers over Antonio, takes one of his shirts, and hugs it while crying.

Kike throws Marcela out of TacoExpress. Griselda drops the last lottery ticket she bought. The ticket ends up on the floor of Antonio's room, as he leaves the house.

Patricia goes to the inn to look for Antonio to say goodbye, and he kisses her. Kikito finds the lottery ticket and gives it to Kike. Griselda suffers over Antonio's departure, and Reinaldo comforts her.

Beatriz confesses to Alba that she wants to have a child with Guillermo using the sperm he donated to the fertility clinic. Manuel regains consciousness and thanks Celeste for saving his life.

On her last night at the restaurant, Griselda asks Reinaldo not to see each other anymore, but the mutual attraction only grows stronger. Gabriel catches Kike and Clara kissing in the kitchen.

Teresa Cristina and Reinaldo plan to throw a party to renew their vows, and Antonio takes a chance on winning Patricia back. There is great anticipation for the fight between boxers Máximo and Murillo.

Teresa Cristina goes into shock when Aunt Iris arrives. Iris asks her to help her once again, if she doesn't want her to tell Reinaldo all her secrets. Máximo and Murillo face off.

Antonio is thrown out of the party after being beaten, but he takes home the grand prize: Patricia confesses that she still loves him. Kike and Clara make love. Teresa Cristina leaves the party and goes after Griselda.

Teresa Cristina insults Griselda, humiliating her by saying that she is vainly fooling herself about her husband. Reinaldo visits Griselda, apologizes, but they end up saying goodbye. Máximo continues to struggle.

Gabriel tells Griselda the news that she is the winner of the lottery jackpot. Teresa Cristina and Reinaldo make love after a heated argument over Griselda. He misses her.

The winning ticket goes missing. Teresa Cristina is consumed by envy when she learns that Griselda won the lottery. Gabriel proposes marriage to Carrasco. Bárbara is frightened when Máximo faints.

Bárbara shows up at Griselda's house and demands to see her son, Kikito. Griselda throws her out, but for the sake of family peace, she asks how much money she wants to leave her grandson alone.

Reinaldo agrees to give Teresa Cristina another chance, on the condition that she change the way she treats others. Kike goes to pick up his son from school and runs into Bárbara.

Griselda wants to buy a house and calls the same real estate agent used by the mobster. Kike prevents Bárbara from seeing her son, and she makes it clear that she is not willing to give him up.

Griselda visits her future mansion. Teresa Cristina shows up and causes a scene. Griselda tells her that they will be neighbors whether she likes it or not—another reason for Teresa Cristina to declare war on her.

The Carrascos go to see their new mansion. They are neighbors of Teresa Cristina, and she declares war on them. The mobster overhears everything. Antonio wants to make peace with his mother, and she accepts.

Teresa Cristina struggles with the mobster, pushes him down the stairs, and kills him. Manuel tries to strangle Celeste, and Ro saves her. Teresa Cristina has hallucinations.

The police arrest Manuel. Griselda convinces Celeste to drop the domestic violence charges. Kikito comes face to face with Bárbara for the first time, but she denies being his mother.

Patricia argues with Teresa Cristina again and decides to leave the house. Antonio finds out that she is moving to the inn and knocks on her bedroom door, insisting that they get back together.

Suddenly, a mysterious character named Elio appears, mentioning Griselda's name, but she does not know him. Aunt Iris has a secret about Teresa Cristina and blackmails her, threatening to spill the beans.

Teresa Cristina tries to convince her neighbors not to approve Griselda's purchase. Carrasco arrives at that moment and they clash. Reinaldo arrives in time to stop the argument.

Teresa Cristina and Griselda come to blows in front of the condominium board members. In the end, Griselda is accepted as a neighbor and signs the purchase. Patricia and Antonio make love.

Teresa Cristina talks in her sleep, and Ro discovers that she killed a man she refers to as "the mobster." Bárbara takes Kikito from school. Griselda looks for Elio to find out who he really is.

Griselda announces to her children how she will distribute her money and how she will help each of them move forward. Antonio is disappointed. Teresa Cristina reproaches Patricia for having gotten back together with Antonio.

Griselda's deceased husband, José Salinas, returns aboard his fishing boat. Everyone is left in shock. Griselda rejects him and wants him to leave, but he demands his place as her husband.

Griselda accepts Gabriel's marriage proposal in front of José and asks her ex to leave and never come back. José plays the victim and places his fate in his children's hands.

Patricia tells Antonio that they are expecting a child, but he rejects her. Reinaldo supports his daughter when he learns about the pregnancy. José Salinas sneaks into Griselda's bed, and she kicks him out.

Reinaldo confronts Antonio, beats him, and throws him out of the house. Enraged, Antonio assures Teresa Cristina that if she throws Patricia out because of her pregnancy, he will leave with her and abandon Teresa Cristina.

Teresa Cristina and Griselda clash over Patricia and Antonio's baby, nearly coming to blows. Reinaldo intervenes in time and takes his wife away. José begins searching for the treasure.

Reinaldo visits Griselda and meets José. The two grandfathers join forces to support their children during this stage. Patricia agrees to move in with Griselda at her new mansion and be neighbors with her mother.

Amalia breaks up with Rafael after learning from Susana that he is a thief. Teresa Cristina sneaks into Griselda's new mansion with Ro, carrying out a macabre plan. Griselda puts Iris to the test.

Teresa Cristina and Ro cause the bathrooms in Griselda's new mansion to collapse. The "husband for hire" fixes the problem and returns a putrid little gift to his elegant neighbor.

Marcela blackmails Teresa Cristina by threatening to publish the secret that she is her mother's murderer. Reinaldo arrives and overhears part of the conversation. Gabriel feels attracted to Esther.

Teresa Cristina meets with Fernando to give him a sinister assignment. He accepts in exchange for having something with her and out of interest in her money. Máximo leaves Bárbara, and she asks Kike for help. 

Griselda begins interviewing candidates to fill the role of "handyman." Bárbara moves José into Griselda's old house, and Kike throws her out by force. Bárbara throws herself into the sea.

Kike and Elio rescue Bárbara from the sea. Pretending to be weak, Bárbara lets Kike remove her wet clothes and, as soon as she can, seduces him. Kike gives in. Patricia avoids Antonio.

Bárbara and José show up at the mansion to visit Kikito, who gets excited when he sees his mother. Teresa Cristina takes Marcela out to eat, while Fernando plans the journalist's death.

Fernando and his accomplices stage a robbery to recover the blackmail money from Marcela. The journalist tries to flee and is shot. The police arrive and find Marcela still alive.

Bárbara looks for Máximo and asks him for money to obtain custody of Kikito. Antonio deceives Griselda and buys a car. Griselda takes it away from him and teaches her son a harsh lesson.

Teresa Cristina sneaks into Marcela's hospital room in disguise and suffocates her. The nurse recognizes the fake blonde in the security footage. Fernando takes Teresa Cristina to a motel.

José Salinas visits Teresa Cristina, and there is instant chemistry between them. There are no clues as to who the blonde woman at the hospital might be, but the nurse goes to Marcela's funeral and discovers something.

Fernando gets rid of the nurse who recognized Teresa Cristina to keep her from talking. Antonio seeks out Simón and, shoving him, warns him to stay away from Patricia—or else he won't answer for the consequences.

Reinaldo declares his love for Griselda, and they share their first kiss. Fernando has the dress Teresa Cristina was wearing on the day she betrayed her husband. He tries to force a kiss on her, but Ro arrives.

Griselda finds Teresa Cristina and José in the middle of a sexual encounter.

Teresa Cristina asks Ro to pack Reinaldo's bags. The couple cannot come to an agreement on the divorce, and she shows up at the Gourmet Palmer to announce to everyone that she will be shutting the place down.

Simón and Patricia share their first kiss. Bárbara takes the Chinese knives to an antique dealer and learns they are worth a fortune. Griselda tells Reinaldo that Teresa Cristina has a lover.
