Paramedic Megan sees 88-year-old Irene, whose soaring blood pressure takes a sudden turn as she develops heart palpitations mid-consultation. Also, a young women arrives for her very first smear test.

A war veteran Terence pops in to see Dr Katy Dudgeon about an old biking injury that has come back to haunt them. Mahsa visits Dr Katy with fears about her own breast health following her mother-in-law's cancer diagnosis.

Young footballer Lucas and his mum and his mum are back after a pitch-side accident left Lucas with several stitches in his lip, and a course of antibiotics that needs topping up.

Dr Libby meets Olivia, who is struggling with a persistent skin rash on her legs and chest - possibly being worsened by work-related stress. Also, Dr George also reassures little Philomena, who's come down with chickenpox, and treats Charlie who injured his foot after treading on broken glass at home.

Long-term patient Michael sees Dr Tim about a fast-growing lump in his throat, now the size of a fifty-pence piece. Fabia consults Dr George about constant burping and bitter bile. With her gut clearly under strain, Dr George begins an investigation to uncover which troublesome bacteria may be to blame.

A 53-year-old former typist Cherie arrives at the practice with a painfully swollen hand. Dr Libby Pearson suspects arthritis, but an autoimmune condition could also be to blame. Mark seeks help for his ongoing stomach troubles and Dr George Hawche carries out a careful examination. Also, 76-year-old Corina meets Dr Libby about a rare skin condition that causes constant itching and blisters.

A patient is worried about a sore throat and a cough which he cannot seem to shake, but Dr Devin Gray is more concerned about his sudden weight loss. Elsewhere, doctors treat a patient seeking advice after a recent asthma flare-up, and a former-sailor who is struggling with pain in his chest.

Martyn admits he's feeling a bit hot, but things take a turn and Dr Ferdinand has to act quickly as Martyn passes out. Dr Paul Dudley meets self-proclaimed Birmingham lad Greg, who's nervous about some blood test results. Dr Dudley reassures him there are no "horror stories" in there, but he does need to be mindful of his gout. Greg confesses how much he loves a glass of wine (or two) but promises he will cut down. Dr Aireen Razak meets Paul, who's struggling to shake a chest infection. She's concerned when Paul reveals a history of cancer, exposure to asbestos and the fact he's not up to date with his vaccinations. To be safe she refers him for a chest x-ray and encourages him to consider getting vaccinated. Dr Amanda Ramshaw meets Ben whose latest tattoo has become infected. Despite the pain and discomfort, he's not put off getting more. Dr Paul Dudley decides to perform a blood test there and then for Gurmeet, who's worried about his frequent trips to the toilet. He also completes an examination of his prostate, which is enlarged but fortunately does not appear to be cancerous. Lee comes to see Dr Chris Ferdinand about his trigger finger, but ends up opening up about how he doesn't seem to be in control of any aspect of his life. A sympathetic Chris is pleased that Lee has already sought help and is on medication, but thinks he could benefit from some additional talking therapies. Dr Aireen Razak meets Christine who's suffering with chronic recurrent UTIs and Dr Amanda Ramshaw treats a fungal toe.

A patient comes in suffering from a painful rash on her scalp, so Dr Chris Ferdinand promises to chase up her appointment with a dermatologist. Meanwhile, Dr Aireen Razak meets a man who is struggling with a hiatus hernia and terrible acid reflux, but surgeons have told him he cannot have an operation until he quits smoking. Other patients include a woman struggling with her mental health, and a young girl who has been sent home from school with a rash.

The mobile surgery comes to Peterborough. Dr Aireen Abdul-Razak offers medical support to cyclist brothers Daniel and Adam who were both knocked off their bikes over the weekend in a collision with a van. Neither have been to hospital and she marches one of them to A&E for an X-Ray and offers the other some stronger pain relief and an even stronger warning to be careful. Emotional and desperate for help, Gail has been waiting for a knee replacement for eight years. After 21 injections she still has fluid on her knee and is in a lot of pain. Dr Rizwan Rafi's diagnoses osteoarthritis and offers more effective pain relief. Amy's family accompany her to the clinic to discuss her intramuscular tumour after her MRI scan uncovered a benign lump. Dr Chris Ferdinand offers advice and discusses help for Amy's pain management. Dr Aireen Abdul-Razak sees 28-year-old Jessica who suffers from lymphocytes colitis which causes chronic inflammation in the colon, tummy cramps and regular toilet trips. It's holding her back from enjoying her day-to-day life, and Dr Abdul-Razak is keen to help find a solution so she can start going out and not worry where the closest toilet is. Carol comes in with her daughter to the surgery about a painful spleen. Dr Devin Gray is concerned about her dramatic weight loss and is keen to investigate her symptoms further with a referral to the hospital for further tests. And Dr Chris Ferdinand offers relief by way of a steroid injection to Ann Marie for her ongoing trigger finger which she has been suffering with for the last 14 years.

From Peterborough, after returning from pilgrimage, Mohammed has pain in his leg. Debbie Harris needs to rule out a blood clot or deep vein thrombosis, which could be life-threatening.

Dr Sobia Wyne has a long list of possible causes for a patient's eye infection, and a woman who has had knee replacement surgery may have developed deep vein thrombosis. A COPD sufferer is given medication through a nebuliser, but it has an unexpected effect, and a patient on anti-sickness medication finds that he still cannot stop vomiting. A woman suffering from depression and anxiety thinks she is ready to come off her medication, and a mother of three encounters difficulties with her contraceptive implant.

First through Doctor Qamar's consulting room door this week is Brian, a regular patient who is concerned about memory loss and is desperate for some answers. Elsewhere, a young boy is diagnosed with balanitis, and doctor Wyne treats one of her regular patients, who has MS and a dependency on alcohol.

Dr Wyne has some advice for Elvira, a Romanian woman, who has brought a cocktail of drugs from her home country to 'treat' her many conditions.

A patient with lung cancer arrives for a check-up with Dr Ashraf, nurse Emma Rogers meets Hazel, who wants a new contraceptive implant, and a man comes in concerned about his weight loss.

Elderly patient Brian arrives concerned that his feet have turned an alarming shade of blue. But Dr Williams seems more worried about his low mood. A man arrives after an episode of abdominal pain so severe it made him vomit and seek help in A&E the night before, while a woman is suffering insomnia, which in turn may be triggering depression. Nurse Rosie issues a warning to patient Pat when her blood tests reveal her sugar levels have skyrocketed and Dr Arif treats a baby with constipation.

A student studying for her A-levels is struggling to sit at her desk due to pain in her collar bone, a new mother with hip problems comes in to discuss the cocktail of strong painkillers she is taking to manage her pain, and a man has an annoying growth on his head that bleeds whenever he combs his hair. Dr Wyne discusses the available care options with an elderly gentleman who has mixed dementia and his daughter.

Dr Razak's first patient of the day is Muriel, an elderly woman who recently suffered a mini-stroke. She is reluctant to take her blood pressure medication because she has an aversion to drugs - but as the doctor explains, not doing so could make things even worse. Elaine asks Dr Costigan to give her painful knee a once-over and 92-year-old Elizabeth comes in for her regular heart check-up.

There is drama at the practice when young mother Farheena, who suffers from a long-term lung infection, arrives to see paramedic Kim - only to collapse halfway through the appointment. Kelsi visits the surgery hoping to have an annoying mole removed and Sarup asks about the painful raised skin that has developed around his bypass surgery scar.

Dr Qamar counsels a journalist named Zahid who has PTSD after being imprisoned and tortured in Afghanistan. Dr Williams sends Royston for a scan to look for signs of prostate cancer, although the patient is adamant it should not be before an upcoming fishing trip he has arranged. Dr Mao turns medical detective when patient Andrew describes a combination of numbness in his jaw and face, and a cannabis smoker complains of chest pains and shakes.

Katie sees nurse Claire Hentrich to discuss her prolonged periods, and Dr Jo Tatlock meets Annette, who has been struggling with pains and lumps in her fingers - jeopardising her work as a woodwind musician.

Mother of four Mikki has detected a small lump in her breast, so she comes in to see Dr Sonia Ashraf, while Dr Aireen Razak treat Caroline, who has discovered a knotty lump on her collar bone that has got her fearing the worst. Down the corridor, young father Hosea is concerned he may have suffered a mini-stroke, while away from the surgery, paramedic Sophie Daley visits the home of Parkinson's disease sufferer Robert, who has developed a worrying chest infection.

Dr Wyne chats to Adolphus who is struggling to come to terms with the recent deaths of his wife and also his best friend. Dr Qamar visits Elsie who, unexpectedly, lost her husband.

This looks like a case of vertigo, but seven years ago, Catherine was diagnosed with a neurological condition called Guillain-Barré syndrome, and it may be flaring up. Dr Sonia Ashraf meets a lady who recently had an operation to remove an ectopic pregnancy, and has been struggling to get pregnant ever since. She also had one of her ovaries removed, and has been diagnosed with endometriosis.
