Salvador returns to Oaxaca to visit his father. Upon arriving, he reunites with Ximena and, when he sees her, he can't help but admire her beauty.

Teresa learns that Raimundo will return to San Miguel Arcángel and suspects that he will seek revenge against José María. A surprise attack claims Matías's life.

José María is convinced that Raimundo is behind Matías's death and swears to avenge him. He decides to buy a hacienda in Matatlán to make his rival pay before justice.

Teresa leaves her house after finding out that José María is the new owner of "La Encantada," but she never imagines she will come face to face with him after so many years.

As the days go by, Salvador and Ximena manage to build a better relationship, but he can no longer resist the young woman's charms.

Ximena rejects Salvador, but neither of them can stop thinking about the kiss they shared. Teresa and José María reunite.

Jonás tries to form an alliance with Ximena, but she doubts his intentions. Romina catches Begoña in Fabián's arms.

Romina makes it clear to Ximena that Salvador loves her, but Ximena confesses that she kissed him. Jonás catches Néstor stealing.

Salvador announces to the family that he will stay in Matatlán indefinitely, even though Romina and Begoña do everything they can to keep him away from Ximena.

Ximena agrees to go out with Jonás as part of her revenge against the Madrigals; José María and Teresa reunite in secret.

Ximena provokes Salvador into kissing her, but makes it clear that as long as he stays with Romina, they can never be together. Ximena and Romina confront each other.

Ximena and Salvador sneak into Raimundo's warehouse, leading to dangerous consequences. Romina confronts Salvador for being with Ximena.

Raimundo reports Salvador to the authorities, and he is arrested for trespassing. Ximena takes the blame, and Begoña goes to Raimundo in an attempt to save her son.

Salvador confesses his feelings to Ximena, and Jonás tries to kiss her. Raimundo makes José María a tempting offer to secure his son's release.

Jonás rejects Ximena's kisses and, in return, asks her for something more; Ximena goes to Salvador to ask him to leave her alone.

Salvador breaks up with Romina, but she slaps him when she learns it's because of Ximena. Raimundo sets a dangerous trap for Teresa.

Teresa meets Ximena for the first time and becomes convinced that she is her supposedly deceased daughter. Salvador forbids Ximena from staying by Jonás's side because he loves her.

Ximena and Salvador are stranded in Oaxaca and will have to spend the night in the same bedroom. Jacinta blames Jonás for Carmen's disappearance.

Salvador kisses Ximena when he realizes she loves him, and they give in to their love; Romina finds out they are together and is consumed by jealousy.

Ximena confesses to José María that she gave herself to Salvador out of love. Eduardo proposes marriage to Jazmín.

Marta arrives at José María's hacienda to help with the mezcal production. José María tells Salvador that he is very disappointed in him for breaking up with Romina. Hugo is in serious trouble, and only José María can help him.

Eréndira confesses to Raimundo that Hugo is his son, but he has doubts. Teresa regains her memory and denies having tried to take her own life.

Ximena decides to marry Jonás and gets him drunk to set a trap. Romina agrees to donate a kidney to Begoña, and José María repudiates Jazmín.

Ximena slaps Raimundo, and he swears revenge. Romina discovers that Ximena spent the night with Jonás at a motel and makes sure Salvador finds out.

Advised by José María, Ximena decides to keep deceiving Jonás, but Romina warns him about the game Ximena is playing on him.

Salvador insists on winning Ximena back, but even though she suffers, she cannot return his love. José María and Teresa reminisce about their past love and share a kiss.

Ximena tries on the wedding dress Jonás gives her, and Romina asks him to carry out a plan to separate her from the Figueroa family.

Salvador asks Romina to get back together, and they share a passionate kiss; Ximena sees them. Hugo is determined to separate Jazmín from Eduardo.

Jonás warns Ximena that if she plays games with him, she will face the consequences. Romina and Salvador spend the night together.

Jonás manages to escape justice with the help of a police officer. Teresa hands Raimundo the divorce papers. Celia tries to make amends with Martha.

Ximena wants to stop Salvador and Romina's wedding. Celia confesses her "sin" to the priest, and Tristán reveals to Ximena that he is Romina's lover.

Jonás kidnaps Ximena and shoots Abel when he tries to save her. Romina accuses Tristán of having assaulted her.

Romina lies to Salvador, telling him that Tristán sexually assaulted her. Hugo asks Raimundo to acknowledge him as his legitimate son. Jazmín asks Hugo to help her get Eduardo out of jail. Abel is fighting for his life.

After the blow she suffered, Ximena now remembers nothing and no one.

Ximena manages to remember some things from her past, but she feels guilty about what others tell her she has done.

Ximena relives the accident with Romina and tells Salvador; José María sets a trap for Hugo.

Ximena makes everyone believe that her baby died in order to deceive Hugo; Raimundo finds out and wants to kill him.

José María humiliates Hugo by showing him that he has lost everything, and Hugo swears revenge.

Romina is lynched by the town's artisans, and Abel discovers that she is laundering money.

Hugo proposes marriage to Jazmín, and Romina could be on the verge of death.

Begoña overhears that Raimundo was the one who ordered Matías's death. Salvador makes peace with Abel and tells him he is sure he will make Ximena happy. The doctor informs Salvador that Romina never donated a kidney to Begoña.

Salvador decides to sue Romina and swears to Ximena that he loves her; Romina escapes from the hospital.

Romina suffers when she realizes she has lost the baby; Salvador warns Raimundo that he will put an end to him over Begoña's disappearance.

Romina asks Hugo to get her out of town, but Ximena discovers them and confronts them.

Romina is arrested by the police and could spend many years in prison.

Ximena begins to question her wedding to Abel because of Salvador's doubts and the love she still feels for him. Teresa ends her relationship with Claudio because he is abusive and controlling. Toña advises Ximena to follow her heart.

Ximena ends things with Abel for good and says goodbye to Salvador forever.

Ximena hides in a cabin, but Hugo finds her; Salvador demands his arrest.

Hugo falls into the trap Ximena set to protect herself. Jazmín is happy because Eduardo manages to stand up on his own. Hugo's lawyer tries to make a deal with the embroiderers so they will drop the fraud and theft charges against Romina.

Hugo escapes from Ximena, and the police find his truck in flames. Raimundo confronts José María for the last time.

Raimundo repents and dies asking Ximena for forgiveness; she calls him "Dad."

Ximena and Salvador marry in the Church and manage to live happily ever after.
