Isabel faints at her wedding, and Aníbal discovers that she has a serious health problem. A man tries to steal Alejandra's luggage, but a young man named Uriel helps her.

Arturo gives Isabel a pickup truck so she can do the things she needs in town. Sergio discovers that Aníbal is cheating on Isabel.

Víctor helps Carlos's men break into Daniel's lumberyard to steal. Iker gets drunk and tries to be intimate with Alejandra, but she rejects him.

Aníbal's lover calls Isabel to create conflict between them. Amparo finds Alejandra with Uriel and throws him out of her house.

Carlos sets a trap for Daniel to send him to prison. Amparo is determined to do whatever it takes to get Daniel out of jail.

Daniel is upset when he learns that his family agreed to give up part of their property in order to free him. Olga goes to Aníbal's town to look for him, and he agrees to meet with her. Sergio confronts Amparo for telling Teresa that he wants to marry her.

Iker leaves Alejandra alone and unprotected in the middle of the road. Teresa suffers thinking that Sergio does not love her enough or that he is in love with another woman because he does not want to marry her.

Regina gets drunk and jumps from the roof into a swimming pool. Isabel begins working at the clinic with Sergio. Sergio demands that Amparo let him make his own decisions, because he will not get married just because she orders him to.

Carlos threatens Carolina, warning her that he will harm her son if she tells Daniel that he had anything to do with the strike by his workers. Sergio decides to marry Teresa and gives his family the big news.

Olga meets Isabel at Aníbal's house, and he becomes very nervous when he sees her. Carolina throws Víctor out of her house for putting her son at risk.

Carolina suffers because she knows that Daniel is in love with another woman. Aníbal demands that Olga leave the town, because he does not want anyone to discover that they are lovers.

Isabel confesses to the priest that she cannot stop thinking about one of Aníbal's brothers, while Elisa reveals to Daniel that Víctor is acting as Carlos's spy.

Isabel defends a woman at the clinic, and Alba becomes upset when she realizes that Isabel will not follow her orders. Olga follows Aníbal everywhere to find out everything he does.

Uriel asks Alejandra to be his girlfriend, and she accepts. Daniel confesses to Andrés that he is in love with Isabel.

Andrés takes Elisa to the hospital after finding her beaten and abandoned on a couch. Elisa refuses to tell the police that Carlos was the one who assaulted her.

Carlos goes to the hospital to look for Elisa and discovers that Isabel took her away. Carolina becomes jealous when she learns that Daniel will allow Elisa to live in his house to protect her from Carlos.

Daniel is about to kiss Isabel, but she runs away. Alejandra tells Uriel about the death of her parents. Isabel enters Carlos's house, and he discovers her there.

Aníbal returns to town and runs into Isabel at the clinic. Daniel threatens Carlos to make him leave Elisa alone. Sergio suspects that Aníbal is hiding something.

Isabel cannot stop thinking about the kiss Daniel gave her. Elisa asks Fidel if it is true that they killed the man at the gas station.

Fidel goes to the church completely distraught because he feels very guilty about the murder of the man from the gas station. Aníbal tells Sebastián that Isabel found him with Olga and that she claimed he tried to seduce her.

Daniel asks Isabel to leave Aníbal. Elisa confronts Carlos when she discovers that he was the one who ordered the attack against Daniel.

Olga is determined to take revenge on Aníbal for betraying her. Iker sees Alejandra kissing Uriel and records them to prove to Amparo that they are in a relationship. Olga shows up at Sergio and Teresa's engagement party.

Aníbal sees Olga at Sergio and Teresa's engagement party and stops her from hurting Isabel. Alejandra suffers because she knows that Amparo is capable of doing anything to separate her from the man she loves, and she decides to break up with Uriel.

Sergio tells Daniel that Teresa is not the love of his life and confesses that he is interested in another woman. Carlos tries to assault Isabel in the forest, but Daniel saves her.

Sergio confesses to Isabel that he is in love with her, but she tells him that she only sees him as a friend. Sergio gets drunk and has a terrible car accident.

Sergio confesses that he is in love with Isabel while he is asleep, and Arturo overhears him. When Sergio wakes up, he asks Isabel to leave the hospital room because being close to her affects him.

Carlos tells Carolina that his lawyer will help him get custody of their son in order to ruin her life for defending Daniel. Aníbal goes to the hospital to confront Sergio for falling in love with Isabel.

Alejandra tells Amparo and Arturo that she will start university, but Amparo is not happy because she wants to force her to marry Iker. Aníbal tells Isabel that he knows she does not want to be intimate with him because she is interested in his brother.

Aníbal insults Daniel and he punches him, but Isabel sees them and stops them before they kill each other. Víctor decides to confess, but just as he is about to do it, a lawyer arrives to help him.

Carlos takes Víctor to live in his house to prevent him from confessing everything he knows about him. Daniel decides to distance himself from Isabel and assures her that he will talk to Aníbal to resolve the problems between them.

Olga tells Isabel that she is going to die and pretends to be very sad. Elisa confesses to Daniel that Carlos wants to take Carolina's son away. Alejandra and Uriel spend an unforgettable night together.

Regina begins to remember what happened at the party with Iker and his friends and becomes very upset. Isabel asks Daniel to stay in the town; he kisses her and asks her to run away with him.

Daniel gives Elisa a motorcycle, and she is very excited about the surprise. Alba asks Carolina to resign because of Sergio's accident, which she blames on her. Carlos tries to murder Isabel in the forest, but Daniel saves her and is badly injured.

Sergio confesses to Amparo that Aníbal had a mistress and that is why Isabel wants to leave him. Daniel tells Carolina that he wants to accompany her to the trial against Carlos to help her win custody of her son.

Carolina confronts Víctor for supporting Carlos in the custody trial for her son. Isabel tells Aníbal that she no longer wants to be his wife and asks him for a divorce.

Amparo discovers that Alejandra is in a relationship with Ulises and decides to send her to Spain. Carlos asks Elisa not to testify against him and assures her that he is a different man now.

Sergio confesses to Aníbal that he has a blood clot in his brain and could die soon if he is not operated on. Carolina goes to see Carlos to talk about their son, but he tries to assault her.

Carolina tries to take her own life after losing custody of her son. Olga tells Aníbal that she will stay in town because she met a man and wants to give him a chance, but it is all a lie.

Sergio undergoes surgery, and his whole family worries, knowing that he could die. Amparo finds out that Alejandra did not travel to Spain and becomes very upset, since she cannot tolerate being disobeyed.

Amparo offers to help Carolina on the condition that she leave the town to stay away from Daniel. Elisa decides to move back into Carlos's house so she can be close to Adrián.

Víctor helps Carolina escape with her son. The police begin searching for Carolina and accuse her of kidnapping. Aníbal threatens Olga to prevent her from ruining his reconciliation with Isabel.

Carlos finds Carolina, but she manages to escape from him again. Daniel learns that Isabel and Aníbal will leave the town to reconcile. Father Blas confesses to Teresa that Sergio is in love with another woman.

Aníbal arrives home very drunk accompanied by Olga, and Amparo sees them together. Alejandra discovers that someone stole money from her inheritance. Víctor agrees to testify against Carlos to help Carolina regain custody of her son.

Adrián escapes from Carlos's house and goes to look for Carolina. Carolina agrees to dance at Carlos's club so she can be close to Adrián. Víctor confronts Arturo for abandoning his mother.

Isabel tells Daniel that Carolina is pregnant and that he is the father of her baby. Alejandra and Uriel hear their baby's heartbeat for the first time. Amparo discovers that Daniel and Isabel are lovers.

Amparo tells Carolina that she knows she is pregnant and advises her to demand that Daniel help her with everything she needs. Amparo demands that Amador pay back Alejandra's money or she will sue him.

Carlos proposes to Carolina that they get back together so she can be with her son. Teresa decides to help Sergio with the fundraiser for the clinic to keep him away from Isabel, but he gets upset when he finds out about it.

Daniel decides to distance himself from Isabel in order to be with his son. Alejandra sees Uriel kissing Carmen and becomes jealous.

Aníbal tells Carlos that Daniel and Carolina are going to have a child. Sergio decides to end his marriage to Teresa because he does not love her and knows it will not work.

Isabel decides to donate blood to Carolina to save her. Daniel decides to marry Carolina to start a family with her.

Alejandra tells Amparo that she is pregnant, and Uriel confesses that he is the father of the baby she is expecting. Aníbal discovers that Amador and Olga cheated him in the construction of the road.

Aníbal tells Amparo that Carolina died because of him and that he got rid of her body. Sergio tells Rodolfo that Alba is pregnant, and he discovers that she is cheating on him.
