Sero, a part-time employee of the torture contracting company Spirytus, is hard at work again today dealing with a stubborn villain. His reward is time spent smoking cigarettes alongside his dependable senpai Shiu. And just when they were struggling with a shortage of manpower, two new employees, Mike and Hyuu, arrive.

When he does, he suddenly finds himself in the First Heart-Pounding Torture Quiz Tournament! Then, on another day, all the Spirytus employees and part-time workers head to the beach together! Siu suspects that Hela might be up to something.

After finishing up a book that he'd been having trouble writing, Mike enjoys cleaning after a torture session. Then, a cleaner named Rische shows up. Rische, wearing full protective gear and a gas mask, is quite shy, but seems interested in Mike. Later, a torture request and kill request overlap in a double booking. Manika, the contract killer who shows up for the job, is Sero's ex-girlfriend.
