Atlantis, The legendary continent that sank. As the Nazis rose to power, Himmler and the SS were convinced Atlantis existed. From an ancient city, to rock carvings in Sweden, the Ahnenerbe searched for the whereabouts of Atlantis.

In Nazi Germany, questions about witchcraft attracted SS leaders. Himmler, dedicated to an Aryan super race, established a Special Assignment research team led by Reinhard Heydrich to research witchcraft practices.

The Nazis claim the Himalayas are home to mythical powers and their Aryan ancestors. Himmler's belief in this theory led to an SS mission to the mountains hunting for traces of the Aryans, while Germany teetered on the brink of war.

As the Third Reich rises to power, Himmler fixates on the Holy Grail, interpreting the myth surrounding it as fact. Whether as a trophy or a magical weapon to victory in war, the Nazis were desperate to secure this relic as their own.

Over centuries, researchers have come closer to understanding the true origins of humanity, but there are still fundamental questions up for debate. Himmler, and the Nazi's SS, attempt to prove the Paleolithic past of Germany's Aryan race.

Runes are the letters of an ancient Germanic writing. Himmler made rune studies obligatory for SS officers as he believed they held mystical power and even placed protective runes on SS uniforms and buildings.
