The Flash

Barry creates a map book to guide him and Iris throughout their future in order to keep her safe, but the results are not what he expected, and instead, they relive the same day over and over again. Joe has a heart-to-heart with Cecile. A new big bad is introduced to Team Flash and friends and foes, old and new, begin to descend upon Central City.

Barry feels guilty for what happened to Caitlin and Mark comes up with a plan which makes everyone skeptical. Meanwhile, Red Death looms in Central City and commands that failure is not an option. Joe asks Cecile to make a choice which leads Cecile to think about the greater good. Allegra and Chester take a step in a new direction. Lastly, old friends pay an unexpected visit to S.T.A.R. Labs.

Barry and Iris start to put together the pieces of what's happening in Central City and believe they know what the Rogues are after. Team Flash works together and recruits some unlikely allies to help, and the plan does not go as Team Flash expects. Meanwhile, Allegra does her best to avoid having a conversation with Chester.

The Flash is forced to make an impossible choice. With the power out in the city, Team Flash calls upon the Rogue Squad to help as Iris is visited by an old friend. Joe and Cecile work on finding a balance.

As the Red Death wreaks havoc on Central City, Barry and Iris come up with a plan and turn to Cecile for help. Barry is faced with what he thinks was his greatest mistake, and the Red Death's greatest success. Khione wants to help Team Flash, but Barry can't risk losing her. Joe gives Barry a very much needed pep talk.

As Barry and Iris prepare for their new life, luck changes for those in Central City. Cecile takes on a case with Allegra's help, involving a string of unfortunate – and highly unexpected – events. Meanwhile, Chester and the team work with Khione to figure out her abilities.

Iris is visited by Nia Nal, as she needs Iris' help. When Iris and Nia fall into a fever dream and explore different possibilities for their lives, Barry, Chester, Allegra and Cecile  desperately try to help them. Meanwhile, Mark entertains Khione but they have different ideas of what is fun, leaving Khione to feel that Mark is trying to make her something she is not.

A seemingly simple mold inspection at S.T.A.R. Labs leads to unexpected time anomalies. Barry and Iris try to make sense of the confusion – and figure out how to get back to their reality. Chester admits a secret to Allegra which makes things awkward between the two, and Allegra relies on Cecile to act as a buffer. Meanwhile, Khione meets with an old friend of Team Flash.

Team Flash throws a surprise birthday party for Barry but things go terribly awry when Ramsey Rosso crashes the festivities.

As Iris receives word of a career milestone, Barry is suddenly nowhere to be found. In trying to get back home, Barry runs across many familiar faces. Khione continues to figure out her powers and Chester works on a suit for Allegra.

Iris is alarmed by Barry's disappearance and Cecile assures her everything will be ok, but does she know that for certain? Team Flash is affected by a mysterious substance and Khione develops a better understanding of what she can and cannot control.

Team Flash works together to figure out how to protect Barry, all while being very careful who they trust. Cecile is skeptical of the plan after an unsuccessful attempt. Khione's confidence in Chester enables him to convince Cecile to try one more time.

The Flash, the fastest man alive, is tasked with his greatest challenge yet, to save the timeline and save existence. Friends old and new gather for an epic battle to save Central City, one last time.

A powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances and Barry, Iris and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out, and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail.

Despero warns The Flash that great tragedies will befall the speedster and cause him to lose his mind. Once that happens, Armageddon will begin. Determined to prove Despero wrong, Barry doubles down on proving his innocence but a devastating revelation from Iris pushes him to the edge and sends him to seek counsel from Black Lightning.

Barry meets Black Lightning at the Hall of Justice after things take a dire turn with Despero. Iris suspects something is off with Despero's vision of the future so she seeks help from a powerful ally.

Barry is shocked when Eobard Thawne returns in the most unexpected way, and with a tie to a loved one. Damien Darhk offers advice to Barry but there is a catch. An epic battle begins with Reverse Flash pitted against The Flash, Team Flash, Batwoman, Sentinel and Ryan Choi. 

The conclusion to Armageddon presents an opportunity for The Flash to end his lifelong battle with Reverse Flash for good, but the payoff could be too much for Barry and team to handle. Meanwhile, Mia Queen drops in from the future looking to save a lost loved one, and she won't let anything stand in her way.

Picking up where season 7 left off, after returning home from a visit for their parent's vow renewal, Bart and Nora quickly realize that things are not exactly as they left them. The duo race to repair any fissures in the timeline and restore everything back to the way it is supposed to be.

When a criminal invades the CCPD, Barry and Kramer must trust and rely on each other if they are going to make it out safely. Meanwhile, Caitlin learns a valuable lesson while out with Snow and Mark.

Barry trusts his instincts during a murder investigation, believing the suspect, despite the overwhelming evidence against him, meanwhile Iris gives Allegra an opportunity to be a mentor.

Barry and Team Flash get closer to figuring out the Fire Meta but no closer to finding him meanwhile Iris, needing a distraction, follows a story to Coast City.

Barry's desire to keep Team Flash safe is tested when Frost recklessly courts danger as she tries to stop the "Black Flame", meanwhile, Iris, tries to help a teen girl reunite with her mother but unintentionally does more harm than good.

Barry and Chester may have found a way to stop the "Black Flame" from hurting anyone else meanwhile Caitlin decides to handle a situation on her own, possibly putting more innocent lives in danger.

With a new Meta terrorizing the city, Joe lends a hand to the local authorities, meanwhile, Barry gets an assist from Cecille who helps to track the mass murderer.

Team Flash is under attack, and each must fight to save not only themselves but each other.

Team Flash uses the distraction of a bank robbing Meta to detract from the grief of losing someone they love.

The Flash gets an assist from XS. Meanwhile, CCPD enlists Chester for help when a mysterious device is found at a crime scene.

The Flash gets blasted with a shockwave forcing his body to age prematurely.

The Flash goes off the grid to look for answers about a new Meta in town. Meanwhile, Allegra pulls out all of the stops at CC Citizen Media, to protect a source and a friend.

With a new speedster in town, The Flash gets much more than he bargained for, meanwhile Cecile's powers experience a growth spurt allowing her to aid Team Flash on an entirely different level.

The Flash and team are in for the fight of their lives, meanwhile, Iris discovers the cause of her time sickness.

With The Flash still reeling from everything that just happened, the rest of the team rallies to support him when he needs it the most.

When an experiment to save Barry's speed backfires, Nash Wells searches for a way to save The Flash and comes up with a dangerous plan. Meanwhile, Iris makes a startling realization inside the Mirrorverse and Cecile faces off with Rosa Dillon.

When an army of Godspeeds attack Central City, Barry and Iris must put their family plans on hold and focus on the latest threat to their home. Meanwhile, Chillblaine is released from prison and claims to be reformed but Frost has her doubts.

John Diggle arrives in Central City with a weapon to help Barry stop the Godspeed War. Meanwhile, Allegra and Ultraviolet's new bond is put to the ultimate test, while Joe and Kristin Kramer are hunted by a former colleague of hers.

Barry and Iris greet their future children, XS and Bart, only for a shocking secret to threaten their new familial harmony. Meanwhile, the Godspeed war intensifies and threatens to destroy Central City.

The Flash enlists a host of speedster allies, including Iris and his children from the future—Bart and Nora West-Allen—to end the speedster war and defeat a deadly new adversary: the villainous Godspeed.

Team Flash face multiple Godspeeds, but focus on their personal issues: Barry and Iris are grieving over losing Nora, Caitlin is unable to summon Killer Frost, and Cisco deals with being Vibe no longer. However, they're forced to set aside their concerns when a black hole appears at seemingly random locations across Central City, threatening to destroy the metropolis.

Barry travels to Earth-3 to find a way to see the future where the Monitor claims he dies. Meanwhile, Cecile is torn between her powers and her career when she uses her empathic powers to discover that a young metahuman is innocent of murder.

Barry recruits Ramsey to help him stop a mutated Mitch, but Frost doesn't trust the doctor. Ralph's mother Debbie is accused of murder, and another Harrison arrives on Earth-1.

Nash comes to Barry and Cisco and ask them to build something for him in return for his getting them something they want. Meanwhile, Ralph stops investigating the Dearbon case, and Ramsey gains the key to curing his HLH.

While Barry and Iris take a vacation, Cisco is suspected of killing Gypsy and her father comes looking for revenge.

Barry helps Raph investigate Sue Dearbon's disappearance hoping to get him back to Central City for a surprise. Nash recruits Allegra to help him, while Cecile gives Chester some advice.

With Crisis only two days away, Barry faces a crisis from within when Ramsey infects him with his black blood. Meanwhile, Iris, Allegra, and Kamila investigate the secret organization Ralph and Barry saw at the gala.

While Bloodwork and Dark Flash infect Central City, Cisco tries to come up with a way to stop them. Joe is badly injured, and Iris has faith that the real Barry is still alive somewhere within the twisted monstrosity of the dark speedster.

Flash, Killer Frost, and a newly repowered Vibe track down the Anti-Monitor's weapon of destruction and meet an electrifying new hero. Ray, Ralph, and Iris go to recruit the Paragon of Humanity, while Constantine helps Mia and Diggle recover Oliver's soul.

After The Citizen prints an explosive story, Iris's life is threatened. Refusing to hide from those that are attacking her, Iris sets out to expose a dangerous organization. Meanwhile, Barry must face the consequences of the Crisis and fulfill Oliver Queen's wish for him.

Barry and Iris plan a romantic dinner for Valentine's Day but their evening is interrupted by an old foe – Amunet. Meanwhile, Frost gets into the holiday spirit and attempts to help Allegra reconnect with an old love.

After months of searching for Sue Dearbon, Ralph gets a lead on her whereabouts and finally comes face to face with his missing client. However, Sue refuses to return home to her family, and instead, takes Ralph on a daring adventure. Iris faces a new challenge while Barry considers a potentially dangerous request from a trusted source.

Feeling overwhelmed with all the changes since Crisis, Barry conducts an experiment that goes awry and puts him directly in Gorilla Grodd's path. Expecting the worst, Barry is surprised when Grodd asks for his help. Unfortunately for both The Flash and Grodd, things get worse when another villain appears – Solovar. Meanwhile, Iris works with Eva to escape the Mirrorverse.

Kid Flash returns to Central City with a Zen attitude and new tricks up his sleeve. While thrilled to see his family again, Wally confides to Barry that he returned because he thinks there is something wrong with the speed force. Meanwhile, Cisco returns from his fact-finding mission across Earth-Prime.

The Flash takes on a dangerous new meta named Sunshine. Cisco sets out to help Nash.

After Black Hole hires Rag Doll to kill Joe, Singh suggests he go into Witness Protection but Joe refuses to stop investigating Carver. While investigating Carver with Cisco, Ralph runs into Sue. Iris becomes suspicious of Eva.

After recent events, Barry takes a closer look at his life with Iris. Eva makes a bold move.

When Godspeed returns, Barry turns to Hartley Rathaway for help; things get tense quickly after Barry realizes one of the changes from Crisis is that The Flash and Pied Piper are now enemies; Iris tries to escape the Mirrorverse.

Barry considers a risky plan to save Iris from the Mirrorverse. Ralph attempts to stop Sue from making a grave mistake that could destroy her life.

After Nora meets her parents and reveals that she's stuck in 2018, Flash goes off after a new meta--Gridlock--and subsequently discovers what happens to himself in the future.

The team take on a new meta with the ability to create blocks out of concentrated air. Meanwhile, Danielle realizes that she's losing her powers, Barry tries to deal with an overeager Nora, Cisco deals with the loss of Gypsy, and Caitlin wonders whether to track down her father.

While Caitlin and Ralph look into Thomas Snow's death, the others deal with Cicada and bring in a consulting detective to help them.

Nora reveals what Iris did to her in the future that causes her to be so hostile to her in the present. Ralph and Sherloque try to trace Cicada, and Team Flash faces someone with the ability to control minds.

A new meta launches an attack on Central City, and Flash tries to deal with him while Nora avoids Iris. Meanwhile, Cisco, Caitlin, Sherloque, and Ralph try to track down Caitlin's father Thomas.

Caitlin is reunited with her long-lost father, but Cisco suspects that not everything is at it seems. Ralph teams up with Cecile to learn who was injured the night of the Enlightenment by the satellite crash, and Iris, Nora, and Sherloque try to track down the core piece of the satellite.

A new weather-wielding villain appears in Central City, and demands that Team Flash hands Mark Mardon over to her. Nora reveals her unresolved feelings for losing Barry in the future, and the origin of Cicada is revealed.

To defeat Cicada, Nora comes up with a plan to assemble the necessary components from discarded villain items in the past and hide them in the present. Barry travels back in time to recover the three components, and reluctantly takes Nora with him.

Oliver and Barry discover that they've swapped bodies. To find someone who can recognize them for who they are, they travel to Earth-38 to get Kara's help. Before they can solve the mystery of the mind-swap, the heroes have to take down a new menace: AMAZO, a robot with all of their powers.

When a new meta-tech villain--Silver Ghost--helps Jocelyn Jackam escape, Nora wonders if Jocelyn wants to reform as she claims. Meanwhile, Barry is forced to stay in the pipeline after a confrontation with Silver Ghost, and Cisco discovers a possible meta-human cure.

Cicada renews his murder spree against metas and cripples XS, causing Flash to lose control. Meanwhile, Killer Frost worries that she'll be destroyed by the cure Caitlin is working on, and Sherloque continues trying to unravel the mystery behind Nora's journal.

Sherloque uses a memory machine to try and revive Grace, and Nora ends up trapped in the girl's memories. Barry and Iris go in to save their daughter, and see her memories of a future Iris. Meanwhile, Ralph tricks Cisco into a night out.

To find a device that will let them administer the meta cure to Cicada, Barry and Ralph go undercover to get it from a black market arms dealer. Meanwhile, Iris decides to go looking for Cicada on her own, and Sherloque meets a woman after his own heart.

With Barry out of contact in the Speed Force, XS witnesses Cicada kill Killer Frost and tries to travel back in time to stop the outcome... and a different teammate dies with her every attempt.

The team need a meta to test the cure on, and settle on King Shark. Grodd escapes from ARGUS captivity and initiates his own plan to rule Central City... and then the world.

Barry tries to find the words to convince Cicada to take the cure that Team Flash has developed. Joe and Cecile join forces to question Ambres, and Eobard warns Nora that a new timeline is coming.

Team Flash discovers the nature of the new Cicada when they find a time sphere that is a future duplicate of Eobard's. They also find out that Cicada II is going after the meta that she believes killed her parents, while Sherloque reaches the conclusion of his investigation.

To learn why Nora joined forces with Eobard, Team Flash reads her journal. They discover that in 2049, Eobard was the only person who was honest with Nora, and taught her how to use her powers.

Iris and Ralph travel to the future to find Nora and confront Eobard, while Barry, Joe, and Sherloque deal with Icicle's newest scheme.

Back from the future, Nora gathers a group of Rogues to steal meta-tech. Meanwhile, Cicada II steals Cisco's metahuman cure, and Barry considers whether he's a good parent.

Cicada II assembles the part to build an atomizer that will release the meta-human killing virus, and Nora tries to use her psychic connection to the villain to find out what she's going to do next despite the risk.

Barry must choose between stopping Cicada or releasing Eobard. Nora and Cisco make choices of their own as they face the crisis upon them.

Cisco comes up with a way to bring Barry back from the Speed Force when a new villain challenges Flash to a fight. However, Barry is... different than when he went in.

Barry and Iris discover that they're having communication issues and go in for couples therapy... just as a new meta starts targeting tech billionaires. Meanwhile, Cisco inadvertently blows off a special day for Gypsy.

The team goes up against the second of the Thinker's metas: Becky Sharpe, aka Hazard, who can gain good luck for herself as long as everyone else suffers. Meanwhile, Cecile suggests to Joe that they buy a new house, and Iris tries to plan the wedding.

While looking for the bus passengers, Barry and Joe come across Ralph Dibny, a former cop who was fired from the force and gained a.... unique power from the dark matter. Meanwhile, Gypsy's father Breacher comes to see his daughter's new boyfriend Cisco, and soon starts hunting him.

The guys and girls throw separate parties for Barry and Iris. While Barry gets drunk with some help from Cisco and Ralph takes them to a strip club, the ladies get involved with Killer Frost when her former boss, Amunet, demands that Killer Frost return to work for her.

Flash and Elongated Man team up to fight one of the Thinker's metas, a Sioux Indian woman calling herself Black Bison that is hunting down the three pieces of an artifact. Meanwhile, Harry calls together three of his counterparts to form the "Council of Wells" and figure out who DeVoe is.

Barry risks his career and his team trying to confirm that Clifford DeVoe is their unseen adversary. Meanwhile, the origin of the Thinker is revealed.

While Flash, Arrow, White Canary, Firestorm, and Alex attempt to return to Earth-1, Felicity and Iris team up to free Kara before Eobard and Fuehrer Queen remove her heart and transplant it into Overgirl.

Iris has to choose between her husband and her friend when Amunet abducts Caitlin while Thinker captures Flash. Meanwhile, Caitlin meets a new metahuman, and Thinker unveils the next stage of his plan.

While Barry stands trial for Clifford's murder, a new meta threatens Central City and only Flash can stop him.

While Barry sits in prison, Ralph faces his first major supervillain and is injured for the first time. He has second thoughts about being a hero, and turns to Barry for advice.

The team goes after a meta with the power to shrink people and objects... and Cisco and Ralph ended up reduced to two inch height. Meanwhile, Barry tries to give Big Sir hope that they can clear his name.

When Wolfe offers Barry and the bus metas to Blacksmith, Barry engineers an escape for all of them. Meanwhile, Ralph has a crisis of faith when an old "friend" tells him that he eventually fails everyone who counts on him.

The team discovers the identity of the ninth bus meta, but she doesn't want their protection. Meanwhile, Cecile turns to Harry for help when Joe's dreams keep her awake at night.

A terrorist detonates a nuclear bomb, and Flash must race between microseconds to try and stop it. Jesse and Jay lend their speed to his efforts, but even the three of them aren't fast enough to stop a nuclear explosion that has already happened.

Iris accidentally takes Barry's speed when a new meta with the power to swap powers touches both of them. Now they have to learn how the other half lives as Iris takes to the field and Barry monitors events. Meanwhile, Ralph refuses to leave S.T.A.R. Labs for fear that Clifford will kill him, and Harry undertakes a dangerous experiment to match their opponent's augmented intellect.

The Mechanic discovers what Thinker has been doing to her, and Breacher comes asking Cisco for help. Meanwhile, Team Flash goes after Subject 11, who can control gravity, and Barry questions if Ralph takes anything seriously.

Team Flash tracks down the last bus meta, Edwin Guass, and discover that he holds the key to defeating Thinker. Meanwhile, Ralph considers taking extreme measures against Thinker,

While Harry discovers the results of the Thinking Cap overload on his mind, the rest of the team call on a former ally to help them transport Fallout away from Thinker.

Thinker continues with his "Enlightenment", and Gypsy joins Team Flash to try and stop him... and to discuss her relationship with Cisco.

When they need an organic weapon to use against Thinker, Team Flash turns to Amunet... but Caitlin has an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Cisco forms a "Council of Harrisons" after the Council of Wells kicks Harry out of the group.

Thinker gathers the final component in his master plan, and to stop him Barry must train Cisco and Caitlin how to function in Flash Time. However, he refuses to endanger more of his friends. Meanwhile, Harry has an idea as to where they can find Marlize, and Cecile's pregnancy has strange side effects on her telepathy.

With Marlize's help, Barry tries to make a last-ditch attempt to reach the good DeVoe inside of the Thinker... and meets an old friend.

After preventing his mother's death and altering history, Barry has a perfect life in the resulting timeline. But memory losses suggest that the danger isn't yet over.

Barry discovers that he didn't restore the timeline as it originally was, and tries to reconcile the difference. Meanwhile, the Edward Clariss of the new timeline teams up with a new villain to bring Flash down.

A new metahuman, Magenta, unleashes a magnetic wave of terror on the city. Meanwhile, Harry and Jesse come over from Earth-2 and reveal that Jesse now has superspeed... and Wally wonders if he gained the same power.

Taking the name of Jesse Quick and donning a mask, Jesse offers to help Barry against two metas, Mirror Master and Top. However, her inexperience puts her in danger and gets Flash trapped in a mirror. Meanwhile, Harry, Cisco, and Caitlin search the other Earths for a replacement for a Harry.

A monster appears in downtown Central City and Julian vows to find the person responsible. While Flash tries to deal with the creature, Cisco tries to deal with his new teammate H.R. and realizes that he's hiding something.

While Barry tries to deal with a new metahuman, Shade, Alchemy tries to convince Wally to join him and gain the powers that he had in Flashpoint.

Flash discovers that he's powerless against Savitar's superior speed, but other matters take precedence when Caitlin turns into Killer Frost and goes on a rampage trying to find Alchemy.

The alien Dominators land on Earth, and Barry realizes that he can't fight them alone. He summons Green Arrow and his teammates, and then the Legends, and then Supergirl from her Earth. However, the discovery of future-Barry's message forces Barry to reveal that he may have altered all of their lives when he changed the timeline, sowing the seeds of mistrust.

As Christmas arrives, the team discovers Alchemy's identity. Jay travels from Earth 3 to lend the team a hand against Savitar, while Joe forbids Wally from helping.

Barry finally tells Iris and the others--except Joe--what he saw in the future and together they set out to stop that future from coming to pass. Meanwhile, Caitlin invites Julian to join Team Flash, and H.R. prepares to open the museum.

A "collector" from Earth-19 arrives to take H.R. to pay with his life for traveling between dimensions. While Cisco challenges her to a trial by combat, Iris sets out to make her mark on the world before the future that Barry saw comes to pass.

A new metahuman, Clive Yorkin, goes after the alternates of the people that wronged him in Flashpoint by turning them into ash. Meanwhile, Iris and Barry finally tell Joe about what Barry saw in the future.

Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Julian travel to Gorilla City on Earth 2 to rescue Harrison. However, they are soon captured and Barry is forced to fight a battle to the death against the gorillas' ruler, Solovar.

Barry considers killing Grodd to stop him, but Harry convinces him that there's always another way. Meanwhile, Jesse tells her father that she's staying on Earth-1 and is surprised at his reaction.

The team is forced to use Julian as a conduit to Savitar to question the God of Speed. Meanwhile, Wally is haunted by visions of Savitar that slowly become more real.

Barry enters the Speed Force to rescue Wally, and meets some familiar faces. Meanwhile, Jesse ignores H.R.'s advice and sets out to find and defeat Savitar on her own.

When Mon-El and Hank bring Kara to Earth-1 to ask Team Flash for help, Music Meister puts Barry under his spell as well and traps him and Kara in a musical where they have to finish the story to escape... and if they die in the musical then they die in real life as well. This story line started at the end of Supergirl: "Star-Crossed", Season 2, Episode 16.

A new villain, Abra Kadabra, seeking out high-tech items. When Flash captures him, Abra offers the speedster Savitar's name if Flash lets him go. Meanwhile, Julian is forced to operate on a badly injured Caitlin.

Barry travels to 2024 to discover who Savitar is and use the information to save Iris. However, he soon discovers that Team Flash was destroyed when Iris was killed... and Barry is responsible. Meanwhile, Killer Frost finds someone who can give her what she wants.

The team finds Tracy Brand, the woman that Future-Barry said would be able to imprison Savitar four years in the future. However, Savitar intends to kill Tracy and is using Killer Frost to do so. Meanwhile, Cecile tells Joe that she loves him and he freezes up.

Cisco comes up with a plan to stop Savitar involving preventing Barry from forming short-term memories. However, the plan doesn't go as intended. Meanwhile, Killer Frost returns to S.T.A.R. Labs to help the team.

With 24 hours left to save Iris, Barry recruits Len Snart from the past to steal a Dominator power cell from ARGUS. Meanwhile, Joe and Kid Flash take Iris somewhere that Savitar can't find her, and Killer Frost calls Vibe out to kill him... and the last vestiges of her old self.

Savitar kills one of the team, and then comes up with a new plan to become a god… and Barry must come up with a way to stop him.

Six months after the Flash and his friends stop the Singularity, Central City holds a rally in the speedster's honor. However, Barry doesn't want to go given the sacrifice that was made by the true hero. Meanwhile, a new metahuman, Atom Smasher, sets out to kill the Flash.

The team's visitor, Jay Garrick, explains that he comes from a parallel world and was a speedster there, but lost his powers transitioning over. Now he insists that Barry needs his help fighting a new metahuman, Sand Demon, who came from Jay's world. Meanwhile, Officer Patty Spivot tries to join Joe's Metahuman Taskforce.

Lisa Snart, aka Golden Glider, comes to the team for help when her brother Captain Cold is kidnapped. However, the Flash soon discovers that the villain is working for his father Lewis, who has some mysterious hold over him. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Jay work together to build a speed cannon so that Jay can return to Earth-2, and Joe tells Iris the truth about her mother.

Martin begins to destabilize without Ronnie to merge with him, and the team desperately seek out another metahuman with similar abilities. They find two men: Henry Hewitt and Jefferson "Jax" Jackson. Meanwhile, Iris does some digging into Francine's past, and Barry is hesitant to become involved with Patty after what happened between him and Iris.

Barry battles another breacher, Doctor Light... and discovers that she's Linda's evil counterpart. Meanwhile, the team deals with a new Harrison Wells in their midst, and Barry asks Patty out on a date.

After Dr. Light escapes from her pipeline cell, Barry asks Linda to help them lure Zoom to their world. Meanwhile, the team questions Harrison's motives and Cisco tries to use his powers on the Earth-2 visitor.

While Harrison tells the team that he's heading back to Earth 2 now that they've failed to stop Zoom, Grodd launches a new series of attacks in an attempt to gain the chemicals that he needs to augment his intelligence. Meanwhile, Barry deals with his loss of self-confidence after Zoom cripples him, and Iris calls in a familiar face to help.

Barry and Cisco take Kendra to Oliver and his team, looking for protection when a mysterious immortal comes seeking Kendra. However, a figure from her past arrives to tell her the truth. Meanwhile, Jay refuses to help Harrison test his new speed-enhancement serum, Velocity-6.

Weather Wizard frees Captain Cold and Trickster from prison to help him get revenge on the Flash, but Cold has second thoughts. Meanwhile, iris tells Joe about the son he never knew he had, and Patty confronts the man who killed her father.

The Flash and his friends go up against a new meta-human, the Turtle. Meanwhile, Caitlin discovers the source of Jay's problems, and Patty questions whether she and Barry can have a relationship.

Eobard Thawne--Reverse-Flash--kidnaps Dr. McGee and forces her to find a way to send him back to his own time. Flash and his friends discover that Reverse-Flash is from a timeline before he killed Barry's mother, and realize that they may have no choice but to send him back. Meanwhile, Harry and Cisco work to stabilize Cisco's vibe power, and Caitlin desperately tries to find a cure for Jay's illness.

While Flash takes on a new meta, dubbed Tar Pit, Barry offers to help Harry come up with a way to seal the breaches. He's unaware that Harry has secretly siphoned off some of Barry's speed... and plans to remove the rest.

Barry and Cisco travel to Earth-2 with Harry to rescue his daughter, and discover a strange world where friends are enemies and enemies are even worse. Meanwhile, Caitlin help Jay regain his speed so that he can deal with a new metahuman menace, Geomancer.

While Cisco and Harry go looking for a captive Barry, Barry makes contact with the masked prisoner and learns that he is connected with Jay. Meanwhile, On Earth-1, Caitlin perfects Velocity-9 so that Jay can go up against Geomancer before he brings Central City down.

King Shark escapes from ARGUS captivity and makes his way to Central City to kill the Flash. However, the hero and his friends are preoccupied with the recent death of one of their own. Meanwhile, Wally resents Barry's presence in his family.

A new speedster arrives in Central City and spreads chaos wherever she goes. Flash takes the blame, and Iris' editor plans to write an expose on the hero. Meanwhile, Jesse discovers how far her father will go to protect her.

When Barry reaches a dead end in going faster, he decides to travel into the past and trick Eobard Thawne--posing as Harrison Wells--into showing him how to go faster. However, something, in the timestream follows Barry back... and it's not friendly.

With Harry's help, Barry becomes fast enough to stop Zoom. Using Vibe's powers, the team contacts Zoom on the other Earth and use his past to trap him. But Zoom manages to escape their trap and takes one of them hostage to force Barry to give up his speed.

Barry tries to cope with a life without superspeed, but finds himself forced to don the Flash suit when a metahuman abducts Harry believing that he's Harrison Wells. Meanwhile, Wally asks Joe to arrange a meeting for him with Flash, and Caitlin tries to escape her captivity.

Zoom begins his reign of terror, unleashing the Earth Two version of Cisco's brother Dante on the populace. Meanwhile, Barry debates whether to undergo the dangerous process Harry has created to give him back his speed.

While Barry is trapped in the Speed Force, his friends desperately try to bring him home... only to discover that he may not want to leave. Meanwhile, the particle experiment reanimates one of the team's old foes, who is obsessed with finding Iris.

The Earth Two metahumans attack Central City en masse, and Barry is oddly confident that the team can handle them. Meanwhile, Cisco has vibes of an ominous future, and meets the Earth Two counterpart of a woman he loved.

The team discovers what Zoom is up to, and why he wants Barry to race him. When they realize that Barry is out of control after the death of someone close to him, they lock Barry up for his own safety rather than let him participate in a race he can't win.

Barry discovers his powers and puts them to the test, only when he finds its no longer a test but the real thing when he encounters a certain someone.

Barry escorts Iris to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg. When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man's life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco scramble to find out what's wrong with Barry, Joe comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn't six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black, who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the "red streak."

As Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to capture Kyle Nimbus, a.k.a. The Mist, a dangerous new meta-human with toxic gas powers, they revisit the painful night the particle accelerator exploded and killed Caitlin's fiancé, Ronnie. Meanwhile, Joe decides to finally visit Henry in jail after all these years, but things take a dangerous turn when Kyle shows up looking to punish Joe for arresting him years ago. Meanwhile, Iris and Eddie continue to hide their relationship from Joe.

The Flash stops a robbery but the culprits get away after shooting a guard, and The Flash chooses to save the man instead of following the criminals. Joe shows Barry a book of suspects and Barry identifies Leonard Snart as the leader of the group. While investigating the case, Barry gets a surprise visit from an old friend - Felicity Smoak, who heard about his new abilities and came to check them out for herself. She joins him at S.T.A.R. Labs to help stop Snart after it's revealed that Snart his gotten his hands on a stolen "cold gun," which could kill The Flash. Dr. Wells is furious when he finds out that Cisco built the cold gun without telling anyone and now it's missing. Meanwhile, Iris is getting the silent treatment from Joe because of her relationship with Eddie. Finally, The Flash and Captain Cold have an epic confrontation.

After a bomb goes off downtown, the army, led by General Eiling, rolls in and takes over the case, much to Joe's surprise. Suspicious, Joe tells Barry that he and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs should look into the army's involvement. Wells informs the team that Eiling was experimenting on his men to turn them into super soldiers. Cisco confirms one of Eiling's soldiers, Bette Sans Souci, was at the bomb site. The Flash tracks her down and realizes that she's not setting off the bombs, she is a meta-human who can blow things up just by touching them. Meanwhile, when Joe learns Iris is writing about "the streak," he tells Barry to make her stop. Barry realizes Iris won't listen to him so he decides to have The Flash pay her a visit.

The Flash faces a new meta-human named Tony, who can turn himself into girded steel at will. While Dr. Wells and Caitlin are concerned about Barry's safety, Cisco comes up with a plan to take Tony down. Meanwhile, Iris's blog on The Flash gets her into trouble, and Eddie witnesses Tony's abilities firsthand and begins to ask questions that Joe doesn't want answered. Joe asks Dr. Wells to help him solve Nora Allen's murder.

The Flash goes up against Farooq aka Blackout, a metahuman who can harness electricity. During their battle, Farooq zaps The Flash and siphons all his electricity, leaving The Flash without his speed. Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco work to reverse the effects on Barry, but their efforts are disrupted when Farooq comes banging on S.T.A.R. Labs doors in search of Wells, who he blames for his accident. Without Barry's powers to protect them, the group must figure out a way to save themselves from the metahuman. Meanwhile, Tockman manages a coup inside the Central City police department and takes several people hostage, including Joe and Iris. While Iris is sure The Flash will save them, Eddie has a trick up his sleeve.

Barry is thrilled when Oliver, Felicity and Diggle come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he'd like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn't go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris is furious when Eddie tries to get a task force to stop The Flash, Joe and Dr. Wells agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry, and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs.

Barry finds himself face-to-face with his nemesis, the man in the yellow suit, a.k.a. Reverse Flash, who killed his mother. Barry is frustrated when the Reverse Flash escapes, but Dr. Wells and Cisco come up with a plan to trap him. All they need is bait, so they turn to Dr. Tina McGee from Mercury Labs to help. Meanwhile, it's Christmas at The West household and Iris is in full holiday cheer. Eddie gives her a surprising gift but also leaves her with a question that could change her life. Joe joins the search for the man in yellow and ends up in the crossfire.

Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold returns to Central City with a new hotheaded partner in tow - Mick Rory AKA Heat Wave. The duo plan to steal a multi-million dollar painting, but Cold has another agenda while in town - to set a trap for The Flash. Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless The Flash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe he isn't sure he should take on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought. Meanwhile, Barry asks Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco to help him double his training efforts so he's ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City. Iris deals with the aftermath of Barry's confession, and Cisco makes the CCPD a new shield.

Dr. Wells' former protégée, Hartley Rathaway, returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash. Meanwhile, Iris is thrilled when she's hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge, who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin. Joe asks Eddie for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.

Caitlin decides that she and Barry need to move on from Ronnie and Iris and find new loves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn't have any luck making a love connection but Barry meets Linda Park, a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris is surprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco considers Hartley's dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna, a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay out of Iron Heights. When Henry snoops around in an attempt to help Joe and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed up by inmates.

After Ronnie attacks a physicist, Barry and the team realize they need to go after Caitlin's fiancé who is now a dangerous meta-human. They deduce the best way to track Ronnie is to find Dr. Martin Stein who was working on a project called F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. Barry struggles to balance his duties as The Flash and his relationship with Linda Park, and Joe enlists Cisco's help to reinvestigate the murder of Nora Allen. General Eiling returns to Central City.

After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie and Dr. Stein, Barry and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge tells Iris that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel.

Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde's death, and sets his sights on Joe, who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry, Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn't listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Barry and Linda end up on an awkward double date with Eddie and Iris.

The Flash learns that Captain Cold and Heat Wave have returned to Central City. This time Snart has brought along his baby sister Lisa to help wreak havoc on the city.

Copycat killer who goes by the name "The Trickster" starts setting off bombs in Central City. In order to stop the villain, Barry and Joe meet with the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind named James Jesse, who has been imprisoned for 20 years. Things quickly go from bad to worse when the Tricksters unite and take Henry prisoner. Meanwhile, Iris asks Eddie for help with a case, and flashbacks show how Harrison Wells came up with the idea for the particle accelerator.

Barry is surprised when Felicity Smoak arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer, who flies in as the Atom. They've come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it's all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvan unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee. A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris and Eddie turns into a disaster.

Joe and Cisco head to Starling City to continue their investigation of Dr. Wells. While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance, and Cisco meets the Black Canary, who asks him for a favor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates who can transform himself into every person he touches - which includes Eddie, Iris, Caitlin and even The Flash.

Barry, Caitlin, Cisco and Joe set a trap for Wells. Cisco uses himself as prey which puts him in grave danger. Meanwhile, Eddie makes a decision regarding Iris, which leaves Joe a bit unsettled.

Barry must deal with the Reverse Flash's latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe, Barry and Cisco head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris and Barry have a heart to heart talk.

As Wells once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry realizes he needs to make a big move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold, for help. Joe and Caitlin warn Barry that Cold can't be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta-humans trapped in the containment cells. As things seem to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements - Arrow and Firestorm.

Harrison presents Barry with an impossible choice: save Nora and create an alternate timeline, while letting Harrison escape. or let his mother die as she did in the original timeline.
