Scripps National Spelling Bee

The 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee will take place at a new venue: DAR Constitution Hall. 247 spellers from across the country and around the world will travel to Washington, D.C., for Memorial Day.

The 98th Scripps National Bee finalists are gearing up for the toughest spelling competition in Washington DC. The nine finalists include 5 spellers from Indian immigrants in America this year. 

The 97th Scripps National Spelling Bee will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.The semifinalists include four spellers who have made the finals before, three people whose siblings have one the top prize at the bee and three spellers who achieved perfect scores between the written test and on-stage spelling.

The Finalists of the Scripps National Spelling Bee are set: a dozen brilliant spellers who will compete tonight for the Scripps Cup.

Bee Week 2024 will take place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center National Harbor, Maryland.

Hosted by LeVar Burton, this year's competition will include 234 spellers from across the country and around the globe, competing for the chance to be the Scripps National Spelling Bee champion!
