Leave It to Beaver

After getting into trouble for staying out late on a school night, Beaver takes Eddie's advice to write a letter to the local newspaper advice columnist Ella to see if Ward and June are treating him unfairly.

After getting into a fight with his parents, Eddie decides to adult enough to move out on his own. It doesn't take long for Eddie to start regaling his friends with stories about how he can now do whatever he wants, whenever he feels like it, ultimately causing Ward and June to worry that Wally and the Beaver will want to move out as well. However, it doesn't take long for Wally to see through Eddie's stories and works with his new landlady to try and talk Eddie to move back home with his parents.

Beaver learns an expensive lesson when he joins a record of the week club, after ignoring Wally's reminder to return the postcards of the add-ons of extra albums of those he might not want to add to his growing record collection.

Wally finds himself in a bind when, asking Ward to borrow his new car, he accidentally breaks the headlight giving Lumpy's car a jump-start while Ward and June are gone for the weekend.

After making a disparaging joke to a classmate named Shirley, Beaver takes it personally when she calls him a sheepdog, due to how unruly his hair looks. Following several attempts to tame his wild hair, a desperate Beaver turns to Eddie Haskell for help in what to do next.

After scoring the game winning touchdown, the normally bench-warming Beaver lets the fame go his head when everyone starts calling him a hero.

Needing some help in finishing to write his autobiography, Beaver is able to convince his classmate Betty, who has a crush on him to write it for him. However, when she discovers Beaver and Gilbert were poking fun about her behind her back, she decides to add a lot of lies to his paper.

When an annoyed Beaver finds out that Wally doesn't plan on inviting him to his upcoming party, he takes Gilbert's advice to sabotage it as payback. However, when the day of the party arrives, Wally has a change of heart and invites Beaver to join in on the fun, causing him to panic while trying to find all the gag props he placed around the house.

After finding out that his steady girlfriend started going out with a new boy at their high school that has a mustache, Wally takes Eddie and Lumpy's advice to grow a mustache, thinking it will make him more mature. However after doing so, Wally soon discovers that his newly grown mustache doesn't have the affect on Julie's opinion of him as he originally thought it would.

When Wally informs his parents that he would like to buy his first car, Ward is reluctant to agree to go along with his son's plan, especially after Wally lets him know he already has a car in mind that he'd like to buy. It is only after Wally agrees to talk to Ward's insurance agent, that Ward agrees to the big purchase, but with a few conditions involved: Wally has to maintain his grades in school and Ward wants to make sure it runs safely.

When Wally gets a job as a parking attendant for local family's wedding reception and asks Eddie to help him out, Ward and June are worried that things will go wrong. Their concerns seem to be well deserved when Eddie accidentally parks Mr. Rutherford's car in a no parking zone and it gets towed.

After Beaver wins an expensive gold locket at booth at the carnival, Gilbert talks him into giving it to a girl he likes in class instead of either selling it for some quick money to Eddie or giving it to his mother. When the girl's father finds out about the gift, he makes her give it back to Beaver, resulting in June thinking that Beaver is the recipient of the gift.

After being read the riot act for being inconsiderate by Ward, Beaver decides to do a good deed after befriending a hungry hobo named Jeff who is looking for someone to help him out with a bath and hot meal. Beaver soon finds himself in hot water when Jeff leaves the bathroom a mess and takes off on a job interview in one of Ward's best suits.

After Eddie gloats to Wally that his dad let him get a credit card, Wally decides to ask his parents if he can get one as well, only to be disappointed when he gets told no. Later, when Wally drives his friends to and from a school function, the battery in his car dies and he asks Eddie to put it on his credit card and he will pay him when they get home. However, Eddie soon gets Wally into trouble when he uses the money to pay for something else and his father calls Ward about the outstanding debt.

When Gilbert and Beaver spend the morning working as caddies for a pair of competitive gentlemen, Beaver finds himself in a conundrum when he is asked to cheat in order  for the man he's working for so a five hundred dollar bet can be won. 

After Beaver is selected to be a panelist on a local television show that's popular with teenagers, his classmates and family gladly plan to watch the show when it airs. However, when Beaver misses the part when his episode will be airing the following week instead of live, every thinks he lied in order to skip school.

When Wally develops a crush on the pretty new ticket taker at the local movie theater, June begins to worry. After asking her on a date, Wally soon learns that things aren't always how they appear when he asks her on a date and she turns out to not be as nice as he thought.

After learning that Lumpy got awarded the scholarship he was also in the running to receive at the college both boys will be attending, Wally decides to be a good sport and throw his friend a party to celebrate. However, when the school discovers that Lumpy failed a class, they threaten to revoke the scholarship. When Wally finds that out, he offers to help his friend out to improve his grades so Lumpy can keep the scholarship.

Upset that June made him do a chore he promised to do earlier in the day when he wanted to go with Wally and Eddie to get a radio installed in his car, Beaver decides to give her the silent treatment. When the rest of the family notices the way Beaver treats June, they wonder how to get him to start talking to his mother without causing more problems.

When Ward and June have the opportunity to spend the weekend at the lake with some friends, she's less than thrilled at the prospect of having Ward's Uncle Billy watching over the boys. Beaver however, sees this as the perfect chance to try and get away with things he normally wouldn't with parents around, only to discover that Uncle Billy can be strict as well.

As the school year is coming to a close, June's Aunt Martha arrives for a visit with some big news: she would like send Beaver to a prestigious prep school located in New England that 4 generations of the family has attended. Upon hearing Aunt Martha's request, June is unsure that Beaver would like to attend and is ultimately surprised that he would like to go after hearing about all the activities the school has to offer. However, he soon changes his mind after realizes he'll miss all of his friends and family if he decides to go.

The Beaver is in a bind when he accidentally donates Ward's new suits to a clothing drive at school and has to find a way to get them from his school's principal.

While going through a cupboard, Ward and June come across an old family scrapbook and decide to reminisce with Wally and the Beaver.

While learning the difference between stocks and bonds in his Economics class, Wally and the Beaver decide to pool their money together in order to purchase some stocks. However, they go against Ward's advice and listen to Eddie about a stock he insists is a sure thing, only to learn a valuable lesson that something that's too good to be true usually is.

As Ward looks forward to the annual family camping trip, he and the family are thrown for a loop when Wally asks if he could stay home and spend time with a new girl he has a crush on. However, things don't go as Wally plans when he learns that his crush will be out of town with her family for the summer, resulting in Wally trying to find a way to go along with his family on their vacation.

It's a battle of wills when Beaver refuses to eat his Brussels Sprouts and ultimately causes a scene while the family is eating out at a restaurant.

A new student named Kenneth is in Beaver's class is so eager to make a new friend that he starts stealing from classmates and giving the items to Beaver, hoping that will make Beaver like him. However, when June finds the items under Beaver's bed, she becomes concerned he is a thief.

Beaver explains to his teacher how he planted a tree when he lived in his old house, and now that he has moved and is bigger, he realizes he misses his tree.

June finds herself in a bind when she lies about wearing a tacky blouse Beaver gives her as a present for her birthday to a mother's club afternoon tea.

After asking a girl named Alma to a class picnic, Wally finds himself in a bind when her mother insists they spend a lot of their free time together.

When his class gets assigned to write a composition about what their mothers lives where like before having families, Beaver finds June's life "too boring" to write about.

After hearing his friends brag about how long they've been shaving, Wally decides that it's time for him to start shaving as well. However, when Ward finds out what Wally's up to, he tries to convince his son to wait until he really has to.

Wally wants to buy a new suit without the help from his father after Eddie suggests he's old enough to do the job on his own. After arriving home with a suit that doesn't suit his style, Wally doesn't agree with his parents that he should go back to the store for something more suitable. They soon devise a plan to get Wally to see things their way.

The boys plans to go to a carnival in a neighboring town get dashed when Aunt Martha calls for a surprise visit.

When a new girl at school makes fun of Wally's appearance, he becomes self-conscious and turns to a mail-order advertisement to help change his shape of his nose.

After going to the dentist with a toothache, Beaver get scared to have his cavity filled after Lumpy scares him with tall tales how the dentist will fill it.

When Wally decides to style his hair in the latest fad, Ward and June try to find a way to convince him to change it back.

When Beaver's new teacher, Miss Canfield, sends a note home to his parents, he expects the worst. As a result, he decides to run away from home.

After seeing an advertisement in a comic book, Wally and Beaver decide to send away to Florida for an alligator, in order to keep it in their bathtub. However, when Ward and June discover what the boys have done, they make the boys donate it to a local alligator expert's animal park.

When Beaver comes home from school with a black eye, Wally helps him conceal it with some of their mother's makeup. However, it doesn't take Ward long to discover what happened and is disappointed at Beaver apparently running away from a fight. However, when he discovers who gave Beaver his black eye, he comes to regret giving Beaver the advice of confronting the guilty party.

When Beaver loses his lunch money more times that Ward cares to count, he lectures Beaver about the importance of responsible money management. At first it seems that the Beaver takes Ward's word to heart, but when he accidentally loses his money for a haircut, he frantically turns to Wally for help. However, Wally accidentally scalps Beaver when he gives him a free haircut, resulting in the boys having a hard time keeping it from Ward and June.

June sends the Beaver over to the new neighbors with some flowers to welcome them to the neighborhood. When he is given a kiss on the check by Mrs. Donaldson for the bouquet, sneaky Eddie Haskell makes Beaver scared that her husband is a jealous man and is going to pay Beaver a visit when he least expects it.

Tiring of Wally and the Beaver's constant arguing, June makes them sign a friendship pact and spend a lot more time together. Things work well for a while, until their friends invite them to separate things on an upcoming Saturday. Then the boys try to find a way to trick Ward and June into thinking they spent the day together.

Feeling left out when Ward helps Wally earn some money for a new uniform for the baseball team, Beaver decides to earn some money too, by selling water to everyone in their neighborhood after the city turns the water off to do some work on the pipes.

When his class discovers that he has a crush on Miss Canfield, Beaver is coerced into putting a snake in her desk in order to scare her. However, after putting the snake inside of Miss Canfield's desk, Beaver has an attack of conscience and goes out of his way to keep Miss Canfield from finding it.

Wally and his friends build a clubhouse and Beaver wants to join. Although the dues are $1 for 8th graders, Beaver has to come up with $3 in order to join their club. How can Beaver earn the money?

Wally and Beaver dread attending dance school, so when suddenly Wally takes a liking in it, June and Ward are dumbfounded. It seems Wally has developed a crush on a girl named Penny and Beaver soon feels neglected and left out when Wally begins spending all his time with her.

When June goes on a trip to visit her sister, Peggy, June's Aunt Martha steps in and stays with Ward and the boys. Ward and the boys do their best not to hurt Martha's feelings, but Beaver has the hardest time when she buys him a suit, knee socks, a cap, and short pants and makes him wear the outfit to school.

Wally and Beaver want to win a fancy film projector. In order to get it they have to sell 24 bottles of perfume. However, the appalling aroma of the perfume quickly leads to zero sales and has Ward trying to think up a sales gimmick.

June and Ward make Wally and Beaver promise that they won't go to the movies and see a scary movie. However, Wally and Beaver are talked into seeing it, thanks to Wally's so-called best friend, Eddie Haskell. The movie has quite an influence on Beaver, who makes a voodoo doll, names it Eddie Haskell, and sticks it with pins.

After taking an IQ test, Beaver scores the highest in his class and Mrs. Rayburn suggests that it would be best if Beaver went to a special school where his abilities can be challenged. However, little does anyone know that everything is not as it seems.

Beaver is invited to Linda Dennison's birthday party and quickly discovers that he is the only boy that she invited. Fearing for his reputation, Beaver tries his best to get out of attending, but June and Ward are insistent, not aware of the situation Beaver's in.

The local bully, Lumpy Rutherford, has been picking on Beaver and Wally. Thanks to a story Ward tells them, the boys decide to play a joke on Lumpy. However, their ploy catches the wrong person. Lumpy's father and Ward's co-worker Fred Rutherford, is caught in the trap.

Wally and Beaver want to get brand new bike and they ask Ward for some money. He suggests that they earn the money. This leads Wally and Beaver to get a job delivering papers. Later, while trying to help the boys out, Ward and June inadvertently almost get Wally and Beaver fired. 

After Ward's bragging about Wally and Beaver being responsible, Herb and Janet Wilson assume that it would be all right to leave their 4-year old daughter in Wally and Beaver's care while they go out to a party with Ward and June. Trouble begins when the youngster locks herself in the bathroom.

Ward tries to teach Wally and Beaver the importance of saving by giving them a piggy bank. The boys quickly save up a handful of change and are all ready to spend it on some baseball equipment. However, unknown to their parents, they change their minds and decide to spend the money on a most unselfish gift.

Wally goes away on a trip with the Boy Scout troop that he belongs to, leaving a lonesome Beaver behind. Finding his friends to be busy, Beaver takes up other means to make the time go by.

Wally begins to outgrow his "sloppy" faze and becomes much neater. This is noticed by Ward and June who try to encourage Beaver to undergo the same transformation. However, Beaver changing like that just seems too extraordinary of a task.

Ward becomes a bit jealous when Wally and Beaver begin spending time playing basketball at Willie Dennison's house after Willie's dad put up a backboard and a basket. This prompts Ward to do the same thing but it just seems like things are working against him being the perfect father.
