Cary is tasked with locating the American father of a Vietnamese girl, armed only with an old photo. Using his connections, he eventually finds the man, who denies paternity. As Cary seeks ways to assist the girl, he takes her in and forms a bond with her. A woman from St. Louis reaches out for help in finding someone.
