A veteran television actor, Edna Doré's career on screen extended across more than five decades. She was a recurring presence as Mo Butcher in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, a role she held intermittently for over 20 years. Doré also played Mary Hardcastle in the BBC Two sitcom Eyes Down and made guest appearances in numerous other British series, including Doctor Who, Tenko, The Bill, and Shameless.
