Jill Halfpenny

Jill Halfpenny established herself as a television actor with early roles on British series like Byker Grove as Nicola Dobson, before gaining wider recognition for her portrayal of Rebecca Hopkins in Coronation Street in the late 1990s. Her career continued to thrive with a prominent role as Kate Mitchell in EastEnders from 2002 to 2005, followed by her memorable performance as Izzie Redpath in the BBC drama Waterloo Road. Halfpenny has since taken on a variety of characters across different TV series, including Emma in Mount Pleasant, Diane in In the Club, and more recently as DS Sam Bradley in After the Flood and Eve Riser in Girl Taken.
