Lynda Baron

Lynda Baron enjoyed a prolific television career spanning over six decades, perhaps best known for her iconic role as Nurse Gladys Emmanuel in the BBC sitcom Open All Hours. Her extensive work also included playing Auntie Mabel in the popular children's series Come Outside and a recurring role as Linda Clarke in the long-running soap EastEnders. Beyond these, she made memorable appearances in classic dramas like Doctor Who, where she played Val in a 2011 special, and early roles in series such as Z-Cars.
