Norah O'Donnell established a distinguished television career primarily as a news anchor and host across major networks. Her early work in TV journalism included contributing to NBC News programs such as Today and NBC Nightly News before she transitioned to CBS News. There, she served as a co-anchor on CBS This Morning and a correspondent for 60 Minutes. She later became the managing editor and anchor of CBS Evening News, a role she also held for CBS News Special Report, and hosted the series Things That Matter.
