Julianne Nicholson

Julianne Nicholson established a robust television career, beginning with roles like Samantha "Sinatra" Redmond in Paradise and Jenny Shaw in Ally McBeal in the late 1990s. Her versatility shone through in her portrayal of Detective Megan Wheeler on Law & Order Criminal Intent for 26 episodes, followed by her SAG Award-winning work as Esther Randolph in HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Nicholson later earned critical acclaim and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her performance as Lori Ross in the HBO limited series Mare of Easttown, and also appeared as Cranny McKinney in Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.
