Zach Roerig

Zach Roerig began his television acting career with a notable role as Casey Hughes in over 270 episodes of the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns from 2007 to 2009. He subsequently gained widespread recognition for his long-running portrayal of Matt Donovan across 171 episodes of The CW's hit supernatural series The Vampire Diaries, which aired from 2009 to 2017. Roerig continued to appear as Matt Donovan in the spin-off series The Originals and Legacies, while also taking on the role of Freddie Fannon in the USA Network drama Dare Me. His diverse television work further includes a recurring role as Paul in the Starz series Step Up.
