Jerry Van Dyke

Jerry Van Dyke embarked on his television acting career with early guest appearances, including a recurring role on The Dick Van Dyke Show. He later starred as Dave Crabtree in the 1960s TV series My Mother the Car, before finding widespread recognition in a long-running sitcom. Van Dyke achieved his most enduring success as Luther Van Dam on the ABC sitcom Coach, a role he played for over 200 episodes from 1989 to 1997, earning four Emmy nominations.
