Jerry Orbach

Jerry Orbach had a prolific television career spanning several decades, most famously portraying Detective Lennie Briscoe on the NBC crime drama Law & Order. His portrayal of Briscoe across 274 episodes made him a beloved figure, and he also brought the character to life in crossover appearances on Homicide: Life on the Street. Before his long run as Briscoe, Orbach starred as private investigator Harry McGraw in the CBS series The Law & Harry McGraw, a role he originated in multiple guest appearances on Murder, She Wrote.
