Ellen Maxted launched her television acting career with a notable role as Meagan Huxley in the 1986 TV series Just Our Luck. She also appeared as Martha in a 1988 episode of the popular sitcom The Cosby Show. Maxted continued her TV work with a guest appearance as Mrs. Peterson in a 1991 episode of the long-running drama Law & Order.
