Melora Hardin began her extensive television career as a child actor, appearing in popular series such as The Love Boat and Little House on the Prairie in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She later became widely recognized for her role as Jan Levinson in the NBC comedy The Office, a character she portrayed across 33 episodes. Hardin's versatile television acting also includes her work as Trudy Anne Monk in Monk and an Emmy-nominated performance as Tammy Cashman in the Amazon Prime Video series Transparent.
