Charlie Barnett gained recognition as Firefighter/Paramedic Peter Mills in the NBC TV series Chicago Fire, appearing in 66 episodes. He later starred as Alan Zaveri in the Netflix series Russian Doll for 15 episodes and appeared as Ben Miller in Tales of the City. Barnett has also taken on roles in ABC's Secrets and Lies, The CW's Valor, and most recently portrayed Yord Fandar in the Disney+ series The Acolyte, showcasing a diverse television career.
