Daniel Casey

Daniel Casey is a British television actor widely recognized for his portrayal of DS Gavin Troy in the popular ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders, appearing in 30 episodes from 1997 to 2003, and returning for a guest role in 2008. His extensive TV career began in the mid-1990s, with early roles including an appearance in Our Friends in the North before he starred as PC David Young in the 2004 police drama Steel River Blues. Casey has also made numerous guest appearances across a variety of other prominent British television series, taking on different characters in shows such as The Bill, Doctors, Casualty, Silent Witness, EastEnders, and Coronation Street.
