Television actor Kara Killmer has appeared in over 200 episodes across multiple TV series, establishing a notable presence on NBC. She gained widespread recognition for her long-running role as Paramedic Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama Chicago Fire, a character she also portrayed in crossover events on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. Prior to joining the One Chicago franchise in 2014, Killmer made her television debut in the 2010 Hulu series If I Can Dream and later appeared as Sarah McCoy in the 2012 History Channel miniseries The Hatfields & McCoys.
