William Vanderpuye

A prominent figure in children's television, William Vanderpuye built a comprehensive acting career spanning decades, notably starring as Why Bird on the BBC series Playdays from 1988 to 1997. He also lent his distinctive voice to numerous animated TV series, portraying characters such as Lofty and Muck in Bob the Builder and serving as a narrator and voice artist for Tinky Winky and Dipsy in Teletubbies.
