Charlie Sheen became widely recognized for his television acting, notably starring as Charlie Harper in the hit CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men from 2003 to 2011, a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award. Before this, he took over the lead role as Dep. Mayor Charlie Crawford in Spin City for its final two seasons, appearing in 45 episodes between 1999 and 2002. Sheen later led the FX series Anger Management as Charlie Goodson for 100 episodes, further cementing his presence in TV comedy. He also hosted the People's Choice Awards.
