Don Messick

Don Messick was a prolific American television actor whose distinctive voice defined many beloved animated characters across several decades. He was famously the original voice of Scooby-Doo across numerous TV series like Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo and The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, where he also voiced Scrappy-Doo and Yabba-Doo. Messick's extensive TV career also included bringing to life Papa Smurf in The Smurfs, Boo Boo Bear in The Yogi Bear Show, Astro in The Jetsons, and Muttley in Wacky Races.
