Sunetra Sarker

Sunetra Sarker began her television acting career in the early 1990s, gaining early recognition as Nisha Batra in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside. Her extensive TV career includes a long-running role as Dr. Zoe Hanna in the BBC medical drama Casualty, appearing in over 300 episodes, and portraying Anji Mittel in the Channel 4 series No Angels. She has also been a familiar face as a panellist on Loose Women and played Kaneez Paracha in the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge. More recently, Sarker starred as Nisha Anand in the Sky Atlantic romantic comedy The Lovers, showcasing her versatile range across various TV series.
