Denise Welch established herself as a television actor with a career spanning decades, notably appearing as Marsha Stubbs in the ITV drama Soldier Soldier in the early 1990s. She became a household name for her long-running portrayal of Natalie Horrocks in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, and later joined the cast of Waterloo Road as Steph Haydock, a role she played for several years on BBC One. Beyond drama, Welch has been a regular panellist on the ITV talk show Loose Women since 2005, and more recently took on the role of Trish Minniver in the Channel 4 series Hollyoaks.
