Deirdre O'Kane built a substantial television acting career with prominent roles in both comedy and drama series. She became a familiar face to Irish audiences through her long-running portrayal of Fiona in the RTÉ medical drama The Clinic, appearing from 2003 to 2009. Her comedic talents shone as Debra Moone in the Sky1 series Moone Boy, which ran from 2012 to 2015, and she later took on the role of Nurse Elizabeth O'Farrell in the 2016 drama Rebellion. Beyond on-screen performances, O'Kane has also lent her voice as the narrator for Gogglebox Ireland, a role she has held since 2016.
