Ward Bond

Ward Bond, a prolific television actor, is most recognized for his starring role as Major Seth Adams in the long-running NBC Western series Wagon Train. From 1957 until his death in 1960, he served as the wagon master, appearing in 104 episodes of the popular TV series. His complete TV career also included guest appearances on various anthology programs throughout the 1950s, such as General Electric Theater and Schlitz Playhouse of Stars.
