Louise Lombard began her television career in the early 1990s, gaining prominence as Evangeline Eliott in the BBC period drama The House of Eliott for over 30 episodes. Her work later expanded to American television, where she became widely recognized for her role as Sofia Curtis, a former detective turned supervisor, on CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for over 50 episodes. She continued to build her television presence with a main role as Dr. Kate Murphy on Body of Proof and guest appearances on series such as The Mentalist, Grimm, and NCIS. More recently, Lombard has appeared as the Romulan Praetor Tallera and Vulcan President T'Rina in Star Trek Picard, further diversifying her extensive TV series work.
