William Petersen

William Petersen built a significant television career as both an actor and a producer, most notably starring as forensic entomologist Gil Grissom on the CBS hit series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for over 200 episodes. During his time on the long-running crime procedural, Petersen also served behind the scenes as a Co-Executive Producer, Executive Producer, and Supervising Producer. His television acting credits further include roles in the miniseries Return to Lonesome Dove and The Beast, before he reprised his role as Gil Grissom in CSI: Vegas, where he also held an Executive Producer credit.
